Hi guys.

Thank you so much for you response and ideas.

Myself and Alex really appreciate all of your input and are blown away from the response.

Please keep the ideas coming!

Nothing has stood out as yet.(I mean that in the nicest way possible).

Please don't get offended.

Your all going in the right direction.

I'm just going to write a few words on us and what we will be doing, so maybe that can help.

We are basically two young(ish) guys, who both have had a dream to open a restaurant ever since starting in hospitality.

We are starting off small but have massive plans to grow as a restaurant within itself.

Its Our kind of project I guess!

We will have exciting wines to either drink in house or take home, also will have some exciting food as well. The menus will be small(at least at first), but will change regularly.

There won't be an ethnic background in the food, purely because We don't want to be limited in what we do.

We will be doing our best to source the best ingredients we can find, and hopefully mostly from the Uk.

We have been visiting farmers, butchers, fish suppliers for the last two or so months.

We are very excited and can't wait to serve and feed you all.

Thanks everybody

Kind regards

Hazle and Alex

I'm confused by these two posts - is it something to do with Terrior or a new venture?

Cool. When does it open and is there a website (yet)?

Yes Tommy - they could make it a special-offer starter: "Foie Gras Free! You only pay for the TOAST". They'd have a queue down the lane.

    • Hello,  I am a journalist for the Sunday Times investigating VW car badge's being stolen for a news story. I saw this thread and would love to speak to any of those who posted who had this happen to them. It doesn't have to be a VW, I'm also interested in covering other car owners/makes hit by this crime. My contact details are below - please get in touch if you can help or if you have heard about someone who has fallen victim to this locally  give them my details and let them know I would like to speak to them. Particularly interested in hearing from @KB77 @jim_the_chin @d walker @ed26 @OG25  on this thread if you could email or call me. Thanks! • Hi there!   Looking for a coal bbq, and would prefer to buy/give a home to a used one than buy a new one from Argos etc.    Can collect today evening or ideally any time tomorrow.   Thanks!
    • Wow, thank you—both for this and for all the DMs I’ve received. A few people have figured out who this is and shared that they’ve had issues with her too, albeit in different situations. Many have said there’s something that just feels off in their interactions with her—very inauthentic, possibly even suggestive of a personality disorder. Knowing that others have had similar experiences makes it feel a lot less personal, and honestly, it’s helping me cope.
    • Good news! After reports that it was not happening, the fruit & vegetable merchant Taylor's of Maltby Street will be opening in Dulwich Village after all.  They announced this week that they were closing their Maltby St shop and working opening in the old Jigsaw show on the North parade asap. They've just created an instagram account for it https://www.instagram.com/taylorsofdulwichvillage/ It will be great to have an alternative to the expensive and average quality SimplyFresh in the village.
