MrChoo must have owed his second cousin a favour. This wont be doing his reputation any good at all. Surely as Mentor he should have said something right from the start.... the name of the shop for starters... in any case, she has a SALE on already. Perhaps she wont even see the year out.... perhaps she should head back down Bromley way

bland bland bland middle aged shoes on northcross road (correction - in the however long it's been there, I have seen one nice pair). davina may be tat, (although I've said it before, I've seen a couple of good uns) but by golly they're young and spunky. problem is that we folks of ED just ain't. we LIKE the White Stuff. well some of us.

There isn't a single shop in the area that I would deem 'good taste', so Davina Boutique fits into the area well. I saw 4 'Dulwich Daddies' running about in their Crocs today, which was enough to make me storm out of the park in a fit of pique. At least one of the men, who was chasing his toddler around and talking ghastly 'parentese', had a beige pair on...fairly inconspicuous.

On topic - good luck to Davina Boutique. She has presumably done some research on the area before opening up shop. I've thought over the years several shops would go bust, and they seemingly never have. I would not be so impertinent as to state why I think this is.

    • For PECKHAM PODCAST @NigelBiggar Lord Biggar CBE came to Peckham, in part to talk with local people, some of whom did not show up on the day. They were a group of local young Black students I had contacted via a local connection. I later learnt that she would not expose her young people 'to that man'. Others had looked him up on Google apparently ... just as well he has links with the Free Speech Union. #Colonialism #Empire #Slavery #SlaveTrade ... if you feel you can risk it, here is that man:
    • "Unfortunately, over the GALA period the park pond has suddenly become littered with plastic cups and bottles that have been thrown into the water (I assume thrown as not sure how else they would get in there). This may be pure coincidence but prior to last weekend the pond was clear. Does park management have a way to get onto the pond and fish all the plastic rubbish out, I wonder? It can't be good to leave it." it's been very windy the past few days, could be down to that
