Steve turned up early and fixed our drier in a matter of minutes. A true professional with a great attitude. He was extremely knowledgable and efficient. Our drier is working fully, a godsend when you have a baby and a toddler! In the past Steve has also advised us on a new dishwasher and installed it. Thanks Spin Doctor, I highly recommend your services

Likewise, I can highly recommend Steve. Over the years he has repaired our dishwasher and our washing machine. Always speedy, responsive and gets the job done. He's repaired what he can and when he can't he's given great advice about replacements, brands etc. Contact Steve on 07921 777 428.

Thanks to everybody who recommended Steve. I rang him when after following the manufacturers instructions about an error message my machine still would not work. Steve's first reaction was, at no charge, to talk me through what to do. This enabled me to get my machine going again. Unfortunately my machine later developed another fault. This time Steve came out and fixed it straightaway, since then no further problems. So I'd have no hesitation about contacting Steve should I have other problems in the future.

I would also highly recommend Steve - he came to fix our washing machine last Tuesday. This was the second time we booked Steve and both times he arrived right on time, and fixed the machine very quickly. Problems have been fixed both times with the machine up and running again straight away. Would definitely suggest contacting the Spin Doctor for any washing machine repairs.

I can't speak about Steve highly enough. I've used him 3 times now and each time he as been punctual, efficient and most importantly of all - he does a highly professional job. Wouldn't hesitate to contact the 'Spin Doctor,' for issues that need fixing with your oven or washing machine.

Another recommendation for Steve; he arrived earlier than booked and replaced the oven element within 20 minutes, at a very reasonable price. I wouldn't even think of calling anyone else about a broken oven or washing machine!

Called Steve, the spin doctor, on Monday morning - not about the washing machine this time but a fan oven that had conked out.

He arrived as agreed this morning, replaced the element which he had with him and was finished in 15 minutes - magic!

Job done by a very professional man and good value!

    • Someone leaked the report to an "activist" journalist knowing full well they they would "selectively pluck" items to fit their agenda.....and remember large parts of the report were based on data from "activist researcher" Dr Aldred...   https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2024/mar/08/low-traffic-neighbourhoods-generally-popular-report-ordered-by-sunak-finds   Very much a case of when the headline:   Rishi Sunak’s report finds low-traffic neighbourhoods work and are popular   ....doesn't get supported by your article:   A copy of the report seen by the Guardian said that polling carried out inside four sample LTNs for the DfT found that overall, twice as many local people supported them as opposed them.   A review of evidence of their effectiveness said that although formal studies were limited, they did not support the contention of opponents that LTNs simply displaced traffic to other streets rather than easing overall congestion. “The available evidence from the UK indicates that LTNs are effective in achieving outcomes of reducing traffic volumes within their zones while adverse impacts on boundary roads appear to be limited,” it read.   The problem is these articles then get reposted by "activist lobby groups" like of Clean Air Dulwich as "proof".....
    • Wood pigeons strut about in my garden as if they own the place.   It's amusing watching them try to work out how to access the bird feeder ports. They usually end up walking about underneath the feeders  hoping for bits to drop down 😂 This has  however wrecked the bed which my bird feeder pole is in, which now has virtually no plants in it, including some which I had had for decades 😭
    • I've not heard of many moving to SE23 from SE22 or choosing SE23 over SE22 in the first place.  Certainly Clapham and other expensive places to the west.  It may be that this is my demographic but there was always a feeling that Forest Hill was rougher, off the beaten track, until the arrival of the Overground changed everything.  But there again the gentrification of Penge is astonishing That was drafted a few days ago.  But I seriously have to disagree with Cycle Monkey.  The eastern edges of SE23 are extremely convenient for St Dunstan's, and on the lower parts of SE23 a doable ride to Sydenham High.  Not that either was a factor for us.
