A 'tentative drive by' Giggirl? That's how it goes down in the ED hood.

I reckon it involves you and your 'homies' (not 'housies', it's more than that), slowly cruising by the shop and slightly raising your voices in unison to chorus "TREAT US WELL, FABRIC FELLOW KNOWING WE HAVE ACCESS TO THE EDF AND SHOULD YOUR 'NOTIONS' SHOP NOT COME UP TO SNUFF WITH OUR RIBBONS AND BIBBONS, WE WILL SURELY 'POST A THREAD' ON YOU, WE KNOW WHERE YOU DO BUSINESS"

You never threaten to 'pop a cap in his ass' on the grounds it would be cruel to one of our dumb chums and your milliner would be livid.

Absolutely correct JTC, and it has been hotly debated in Ian Hunter circles.

My own view is that it's a poor title for a great album.

shouldn't it be 'you're never alone with

schizophrenia'

Just to be extraordinary dull for a moment, it shouldn't be either.

Schizophrenia means split mind, but was when first used to describe the condition was intended to mean split from reality not a split personality.

Anyway, the farbic shop was closed for a while for refurbishment, but as far as I know is open as normal now.

You probably got about as much in the way of customer service as if it had been open (threads passim)

    • Don't think there'll be much glee around today with what's happened in Poland and France 😕
    • Sounds a horrible, random attack, quite possibly for social media clicks, or some kind of sick initiation into goodness knows what - it is reported they were filming the incident. I do not really doubt that any of this is true. Perhaps the friend who reported it elsewhere does not want to be identifiable? There has been an emerging issue with different types of anti-social teenage/ young adult behaviour on the Rye this summer and this latest incident indicates a tipping point into something much nastier. The park should be a safe and enjoyable space for all.
