I have been unaware of the existence of an SE23 Forum, BBW. What is it that has been attracting the old blue pencil?

I'm a postcode-hopper myself, btw, and they make you welcome here, as long as you know your place.

EDITED because David made my punctuation look stupid.

No, but I went for a drink in the Dartmouth Arms yesterday

Just don't use any words like fuck and wanker and especialy not any words like cunt.

Edited because one of the bad words is apparently not censored.

Top find, MP - what's 'pretentious talk about supermarkets'?

I'll start.

That bally Iceland's no good, I couldn't find any organic pheasant droppings the other day, I mean BASIC or what? I can't imAGine why we haven't managed to swing a Waitrose around here, if it wasn't for Ocado I'd just DIE. Although I have heard that M&S are thinking of moving into Lordship Lane....

I'm moving to Tonbridge and have been desperately searching for a forum but can't find one

There seems to be a lot of Tunbridge Wells stuff, but nothing specifically for Tonbridge. Maybe try a Maidstone forum...

Or just keep posting here.

Are you going to change your name to TonbridgeOz? ;-)

but this is about East Dulwich, why would you like to have an SE23 section? ;-)

I believe people prefer associating their area with a name such as East Dulwich rather then a code like SE22/SE15 borders. It's nicer to relate to a name, "Where did you grow up?" "Well I was born in RH12, lived in HS1 for a bit them settled in BA14", doesn't quite seem as personal.

    • Moving into a new place and need both a wardrobe and a chest of drawers, ideally collection Friday. Thanks!
    • Lordship Lane has two dry cleaners, three pizza places and an Italian selling pizza, two burger places, three bakeries, two hardware (ish, I'm thinking AJ Farmer here), God knows how many coffee and charity shops, two Italians, three nail salons, five wine shops... Where was the abject outrage when Dynamic Vines opened up literally next door to Cave de Bruno? But I don't see his customers decamped next door - no, those stalwarts are still out in force every night.  In Roman times all businesses were clustered by product. It's what kept prices down. Same in any market you go to abroad, they're all selling the same things next to each other.  Why is everyone being so hard on this new place? It's called healthy competition - you can't curtail the expansion of your business on the basis you that might hurt someone else's.
    • I have a new fixation so any available, please let me know.  Thanks.
