I am playing a gig this Saturday at a rugby club in Twickenham. Imagine my disappintment when I realised it was some little dunp on the outskirts! :(

In all seriousness, it's going to be a fecker to get to!

Lets just hope England show some improvement, or shall get absolutely mullered!

Perhaps, just maybe, with Godman that year older, and a pack now regarded as pretty decent (although Murray getting crocked is a blow, and White is stepping up to lock), Scotland finally, eventually, might, who knows turn some of that promise into a decent campaign.

Or perhaps not.

The Six Nations won't be as exciting as The NFL Superbowl on Sunday where an action packed Match reached its climax when the result hinged on a dramatic finale involving The Arizona Cardinals' final offensive play in the Super Bowl, a fumble by quarterback Kurt Warner, the play being called correctly.

Kurt Warner reportedly questioned after the game why play wasn't stopped and a replay review wasn't done by the referee, feeling there was a possibility that the play should have been ruled an incomplete pass because Warner's arm was going forward. That, of course, would have enabled the Cardinals to retain possession of the ball at the 44-yard line of the Pittsburgh Steelers with five seconds remaining in the game.

Mr. Rooney, The proud Owner of The Pittsburgh Steelers was delighted that his side won the Trophy for a record 6th time.

Can you imagine how the SteelerNation felt all thru' Pennsylvania?:)

Brendan: With respect you have to have a deep, meaningful understanding of the technicalities and subtleties and intricacies of the game lyke wot I got.

That was nothing on Ronan O'Gara's drop goal in Cardiff a couple of years ago! Seeing as you are all rugby fans how come you haven't picked a team in the Fantasy league thread?

Can anyone comment on what Hoopers was like for the rugby?

I had a couple of friends come over and we watched it in the Vale - little or no atmosphere there and especially for the ireland game, noone interested really, apart from out little group. I think the Vale is really a footie pub.

Was Hoopers any better? Thanks.

PS - I was going to switch to Hoopers between games, but I was not sure I was going to be able to find it in time, not having been there before, but if recommended will def go there next time. Cheers,.

    • @first mate  just Google the Green's policies and AI should summarise.  For sustainable transport this includes more initiatives to get people out of their cars as you would expect.  I've always been broadly in favour of their environmental policies, although feel they should go further on culture change. Some of their national policies are bonkers and/or unrealistic - as are most of Reform's.  Historically fringe parties could come up with nonsense, as they will never govern.  Of course whilst I don't expect that Polanski will ever be PM that other bloke could be.  Worrying times, particularly if the Greens split the centre/left vote.  It would be better if One Nation Tories could split the centre vote (and drag some of those on the right), but they don;t have a lot of influence in the current party. One particularly bonkers policy was one element of the Greens who wanted us out of Europe, not because of Europe being pro market/capitalism but because we needed a recession, deindustrialise, so we would all go back to the middle ages.  Or something along those lines.  I lost some friends because of this. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03y5trr#:~:text="Protectionism against developing countries%2C savage austerity in,the case for either remain or leave. https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2016/jun/08/eu-reform-green-brexit
    • I've planted a meadow out front, it needs a lot of work.  It's lovely until August and then grotty until the next spring as once the flowers have died back it doesn't have a lot going for it.  Clover is the last one to flower.  It will get admiring looks when in bloom. I laugh quite loud when I pass one neighbour with plastic grass, not only is it dead to nature it is not even laid well,   I should be crying.
    • Andy did a number of jobs for me and was very reasonably priced. He's very helpful, arrives on time, pays attention to detail and a nice man. I'll be using him again and recommending him to my friends.
    • A Y13 student of Art at The Charter School North Dulwich left their A3 art portfolio on the 37 bus after school on Friday 13 February - travelling from North Dulwich to East Dulwich.  TFL and the bus garage have been contacted but do not have it.  It is a large A3 transparent bag with a black art folder inside.  The student's name is inside the portfolio and the bag is stamped with the school name.  If anyone happens to have picked up the portfolio or has any leads please do contact [email protected]  We are really keen to get our student's work back safely!
