Applespider
Hmmm, cheese on toast. Love it with a dab of mustard on the toast before you melt the cheese... zephyr
Did some wicked cheese on toast for the kids at lunchtime. Homemade seeded bread (with hemp seeds extra), bit of heinz tomato ketchup and plain old medium cheddar then grilled. Beautifully crispy round the edge and goegeously soft in the middleSpag bol for tea! SeanMacGabhann
Had he not already mentioned it on this particular thread I would be tempted to start a thread on the man himself and what a legend etc. All I'm saying is, when Piers has hinted he has cooked and on his own, get him round...He brought aforementioned bacon cooked in goose fat around, along with a bottle of sherry and what a splendid way to spend Sunday evening. He is a wimp when not on home turf tho' and complained about "work in the morning" - pffft. You mention one bottle of scotch.... Peckhamgatecrasher
Advice please. I've made steak and kidney pud. It's been steaming for three and a half hours but is meant to be done for five. I'm hungry (ok greedy). Can I go for it now or will it still be tough? brum
I had a chicken salad, followed by marshmallows dipped in melted chocolate. Then when the marshmallows were all gone, we used our fingers to finish off the chocolate from the saucepan. Mmmmmmmm!
