Keef tells us he has keyhole eyeballs. What do other EDF-ites have that are peculiar to them?

I'll start the ball rolling - I have eyelashes that grow out of the corners of my eyes (nose side). Sometims one pupil is bigger than the other - Adies syndrome, I believe. Not always, just sometimes. Nero

Well, not so much have, as haven't, or rather, can't. Apparently it's genetic if you can't curl your tongue, but as far as I know the rest of my family can, while I can't.

Oh, and not a physical thing you can see as such, but I have synaesthesia (more info here too, and I bet after reading the link, there will be at least one other person on the forum with it who'll say 'there's a name for it? I thought everyone did that!')

Hee hee, yeah I think quite a few people could join you in that claim.

Most of my associations are the more common ones (colours with letters and words, numbers, months etc), but there's a few that relate to specific...er...sensations, that make me quite unique according to one researcher.

As well as the keyhole thing, I can make one eye stay still and the other one move :)) Also, my shoulders sort of pop out of socket when a raise my arms, a fact I discovered painfully when putting my hand up to answer a teacher's question at school. Am I a bit of a freak? :-S

    • Yes, still odd. Their information seems mostly to have come from the social media post referred to above. And, as you say , reported "cautiously".
    • I have taken books to the Oxfam book shop in Herne Hill in the past and found they had a limit on how many bags they would accept from one person, so worth checking in advance if they have any current restrictions, don't want to lug a heavy bag out of the car and be told they won't accept. I was able to park nearby - in the side street on the other side of the road, but I do know it's luck of the draw how far down that street you have to go to get a space.
    • I would phone ahead to check whether they are accepting donations. I’ve been in the shop a couple of times over the past few years and seen people turned away with book donations. There are a few parking spaces outside the row of shops there and it’s sometimes pot luck but I’ve usually parked ok. Let us know how it goes Sue.   l
    • Hussein and his team have just finished painting our main reception room, kitchen and hallway throughout the house. We also threw a few extra curve balls in while we were away like painting the front door, garden walls and helping fit some new lights. Hussein is a pleasure to deal with: professional, diligent, trust worthy, flexible and a really nice bloke. This is the second time we have worked with him and will definitely do so again.
