She sang most of the songs in Twin Peaks, "Falling" was the theme. She did a song called Questions in a world of blue" for the Fire Walk With Me soundtrack, viet song has had me sobbing before now!

Actually Anna Morten Harket did have a good voice and Take On Me is a fine pop song.

Billy McKenzie - Country Club

Bob Dylan - Like A Rolling Stone

Tom Waits - Downtown Train

The Rack - Cathal Coughlan

Elvis Presley - Suspicious Minds

Hymn For The Dudes - Ian Hunter

Black Dog - Robert Plant

Luka - Suzanne Vega

First We Take Manhattan - Jennifer Warnes

Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley

Every Day - Noddy Holder

Michael Picasso - Ian Hunter

Get It On - Marc Bolan

All vocal performances that captivated me.

Weirdly, thinking about it, it's only female vocalists that do the shiver thing that Citizen describes.

My favourite song writers are generally men, but for that literally go weak at the knees effect it had to be female. And yes, Neko Case is definitely in that category.

I was going to say Jenny Lewis too but I don't think she's actually that good, I just fancy her that much!!

BBW, imagine yourself in 15 years' time, half destroyed through drugs and cut adrift from the important relationships in your life, finding this one place of joy left in your life, and transmitting that joy so fully it makes grown Bus Conductors like HonaB weep salt tears.

Surely worth a dangly ear ring or two.

    • Electrical work can be dangerous, and hiring an unqualified individual can put you and your family at risk. and negate your insurance. A qualified electrician has the training and experience to safely handle any electrical issues, reducing the likelihood of accidents or injuries. With the exception of simple tasks, it is illegal for anyone other than a licensed electrician to perform electrical work. Hiring a qualified electrician ensures that the work is done in compliance with local laws and building codes. Some electricians are being recommended on EDF but here is no indication that they registered with NICEIC or NAPIT.  One is well advised to steer clear of Check-a-Trade which is a marketing service funded by subscription.
    • Didn’t they have a very ‘unusual’ way of allocating council housing which was also criticised in that report and which hopefully has now been changed

    • Was that the the time it took before reporting something like 'Fully charged'?  If so, had you tried checking from time to time before then whether the battery was effective?   It might also be interesting trying the charger again after a week or two, to see how well the battery is maintaining charge.
