Full revised timetable on southern services, however this is likely to change as weather getting worse

Both Canonbie and Netherby roads and roads leading off, Westwood Park, Ringmore Rise etc. impassable except by 4x4. Was gritted about 8pm 04/01, gritter now likely to severly struggle to make it up the hills.

Very light snow and almost stopping for now.

So far so good, minor delays on metro routes. My maintenance team out and about clearing platforms of snow, however snow is falling again.

Paulino I just got a 176 down LL to ED stn and am on train to LB. Looks like you can get into town I am almost there.

There is a reduced service to Victoria from Denmark hill though.

Number 12 from Barry road to Regent Street was fine only took extra 5 mins this morning

Got the train from ED to LB and it was a few mins late but the 08:05 was delayed 30 mins. I'm now on 149 from LB and it's running well. My boyfriend got the 176 in and it was fine all the way into town.

Denmark Hill trains seem a bit unreliable - according to the boards there this morning at just after 8, all northbound Thameslink trains (St Albans/Bedford) were cancelled through to 0837. But then 2 minutes later a train that the board said wasn't stopping pulled in and opened its doors, so I ended up getting in to work in almost record time. It's started snowing again here though, so whether I get back home is another question...

According to their web site Goodrich is open, so is Kingsdale.

Southern train service for Wednesday 6th January

Heavy snow has fallen on much of the Southern network today. As a result, we are providing a revised timetable to give you the best possible levels of service.

The Southern Metro service will run as normal. Minor delays and a few cancellations

Sussex Coast services will be subject to severe delays and cancellations

Please refer to southern website if you are planning to travel to Surrey and Sussex www.southernrailway.com

I will post an evening peak update later this afternoon before 1530hrs to give you an idea how the evening will pan out

Again, please be careful on platforms some areas are untreated however my maintenance team have been working since 4am to clear unmanned stations and the rest of my staff working hard to clear the others

Nightmare at H. Oak Park. Eventually got on a rammed one after waiting for twenty five mins of farcical automated announcements as trains (some empty!) whipped past. TfL staff (as it's TfL-run now) utterly useless.

37 to peckham rye station, got the 8.08 which was 2 minutes late and then perfect journey to bank/st pauls.. Hoping it holds out and we can get home just as easily..
