  1. Because it's a football thread, and we all share a bit of banter about our respective clubs. Coming on and just having a dig at Man U, but refusing to admit your own allegiances seems a bit rubbish.
  2. Think The Bishop is 2 isn't it? ???? is right though, Camberwell is probably better. And if you get really drunk, you could try the newly(ish) reopened Red Star, which used to be open til 4...
  3. Hmmm fair point. Then again, it's a funny old game as they say... Should Zola get the sack.......... ;-)
  4. matthew123, please tell us who you support!
  5. Best place for a Friday night ruck? Best customer service from a local drug dealer? Just ideas, what do you think?
  6. Okay, best crisp/maize snack sandwich? For me it has to be Frazzles with ketchup! Poor man's bacon sarnie, and a whole lot nicer than that veggie bacon shite!
  7. What you said! I always recycle, I try not to waste electricity, and I don't drive, but at the end of the day, I have to admit, that other things in my life are thought about way before the earth gets a look in! Mrs Keef probably does a lot more than average, but even she says that she is rubbish really.
  8. Burger Rings were okay, but nout special. Now who remembers "Quarterbacks"? Used to love the Cheeseburger flavour! Oh, and the bacon "French Fries" that came in the pack that looked like newspaper (well not really, but that was the idea).
  9. I'd still say Wotsits. Know what you mean about hit & miss, but I think you get more hits. Quavers have a great fake cheese taste, but don't meet the puff/ball criteria.
  10. What really bugs me, is when people (not you Piers) talk like, the damage is done now, so it's too late. I have heard this a lot lately from people who should know better. A lot of damage may have been done, but does that mean we should all just forget it and carry on? Surely we should still be trying to make a difference to stop things getting even worse even quicker!!! Or am I missing something?
  11. Assuming of course you do a lot of drugs? >:D<
  12. BBQ Beef Wotsits!
  13. Ince sacked. No big surprise, but a shame. How will we ever get new talented managers in the top flight if they are just sacked, and we go back to the same old tired names like Big Sam, and Graeme Souness!?!? What has the latter ever done in management that is impressive? At least Big Sam kept Bolton up for a long time, and made them in to a tough (if boring) team. I'm not the biggest fan of Ince, but he should have been given time, and a bit of money.
  14. Bloody hell, give yourself a break, that's only 2 months. Shouldn't you be enjoying being single at the moment, I would have thought a longer period was required for getting far too drunk and falling over, before you were looking for love again!
  15. Why Piers, I had no idea you were so green sir! My only gripe with said light bulbs is that they're no good for a lot of (usually elderly) visually impaired people, for whom good lighting is very important. If they get up in the night for the loo or something, these bulbs are useless because they do take a good few minutes to brighten up, by which time they've fallen down the stairs!
  16. Can't you still get Strongbow Super?
  17. So, wild stab in the dark here, are you not a fan of Man U then matthew?
  18. PGC, this feather of yours, is it white perchance?
  19. I knoww TT, and she's a babe! Sorry PGC, but the question was about ED! ;-) (otherwise of course you'd qualify darling)

Thank you all for the lovely coments. Was really tired at the start of the night, and have to admit I wasn't really getting in to the first set. After that though we all got a second wind, and seeing everyone dancing really gives you a boost too, so thanks everyone! A quick sorry for not getting to chat to anyone properly including my own wife), it's just so manic, and when you do get a break, you need to run to the loo, grab a drink, and smoke a fag then you're playing again! Not sure when the next one will be, but Mike, the manager, said he wants us back there in Feb/March, so it may be soonish... Also need to sort out a gig at the Half Moon, but dates have proved problematic up to now... Will keep you all posted. Audio tracks now on our website by the way. :)-D
  21. Yep, I even have a pair, but glasses can't fix the problem with my sight.
  22. Good thing I'm not actually from Sydenham then ;-) Hmmm, perhaps only people actually from Dulwich should get to vote...
  23. To be fair to Anna, I think she was playing with Sandperson there. I used to go all the time when I lived in Liverpool, but I haven't been to Anfield for years, was going to go up to The Fulham match, but couldn't in the end (and am quite pleased I missed it really). I do want to go to a game soon, mainly because Anfield won't be there much longer, but to be honest, I prefer watching matches in the pub, simply because I have rubbish eyesight, and can follow it better. I went to see Charlton a month or 2 ago, and it was the first match I'd seen in a couple of years. Sat there just thinking why have I wasted ?20 for this, I can't see who is who from here, and I'm cold, and the beer is in plastic glasses. As I say, I will try and get to a game soon, probably with our very own Annasfild, but even if I could see perfectly, I think I'd chose to spend my money on other things (not that I'd have the money to go all the time anyway). Each to their own though I say!
  24. Er, Yeah well slight exaggeration admittedly, but you get my point.
  25. James if It's not within SE22, where would you draw the line? My favourite place for a sunday roast is the Woodman on Kirkdale which is probably as close to SE22 as Hoopers, should I vote that in the East Dulwich Forum's East Dulwich awards? I don't think it's fair to suggest snobbery in these circumstances.
