I'm honestly not sure of this, but did Barton receive a ban because of his off pitch antics? I have a feeling he did, in which case it's not so unfair. 4 matches seems harsh though, considering there were obviously more than one person being naughty. Not even going to ask where these conclusions come from, you obviously know all. Why are cyclists getting so defensive on here, I just do not get it! As I said before, had the driver hit the cyclist for no reason, I'd have been first to scream and shout about it, and again as I have said on several occasions, the driver WAS IN THE WRONG. However, everyone seems to think the cyclist was within his rights to act like a total nutter because he'd been wronged (not that anyone knows that). What happened to "two wrongs don't make a right"? As for Are you for real? Seriously?

Actually it's probably one of the harder instruments to play (I played trumpet, what do I know?). Anyway, did you know that until the later Baroque period, an instrument called the Sackbut (now that is interesting when you take in to account the modern meaning for tromboning) was used, and this evolved in to the modern trombone.

Maybe had I seen that I would have felt differently about him. They couldn't just relax and be funny though, it's like everything they said had to be somehow really sharp and cool and funny. It just got on my tits to be honest. He seems to have grown out of it though.

Well *bob*, as I'm sure you know, F Major is indeed the subdominant of C, so I was guessing it was saying they were limited in their ability or something... Other than that, I'm lost. For the record, the answer to the original question "What is the subdominant of F Major" would be Bb Major. Get me :-S Still not getting the "joke" though

Damn it, saw the title of this thread but *bob* & Loz had both gotten there first! A friend of mine who actually plays the trombone searched for "tromboning" on facebook in order to network with musicians, and got a real shock!

Amstell has been funny when I've seen him on Buzzcocks (about twice), but I can't forgive him for being on Pop World or whatever it's called. It's like th producers of that programme actually try to have the most annoying tw@ts in the world hosting the show!
