Tantric breathing exercises; who has that much time on their hands?

It IS exhausting Cassius. I've never had a pleasant experience buying jeans or swimwear. I think women are more complicated in the whole bum / thigh / leg department than men - so many variations of body shape. I don't know what my jeans size is, I don't know which style will flatter MY particular shape more. I've never just tried on a pair of jeans and they've fit. If only!

Too many muscles. Not sexy. Makes me cringe a bit.

Bravissimo is fabulous. It's nice to have dresses actually fit without spending a fortune on getting them made/altered. I've seen that purple dress in the catalogue but I haven't tried it on. It has a 1940s feel to it, don't you think? It's very unusual to wear a Bravissimo dress and NOT get complimented because they are specially designed for women with curves.

annaJ - you can't beat a LBD and I'm loving that dressing room story. I have LBD that I bought from Bravissimo in Covent Garden. It's an every-day dress that you throw in the washing machine and I wear it so much that I bought another one as back-up before they discontinue it. It's just a plain jersey dress but it fits properly, which is nothing short of a miracle. Bravissimo is briliant for bigger than average lady-bumps because you get to pick different sizes for your bottom half and top half so that clothes actually fit.

Why are all you boys posting on the frock thread? Are you not taking this seriously? And, *Bob*, you need to know that frocks are WAY too important to only have one favourite. Here's a selection off the top of my head and I've not even begun to think about it. If I was at home and opened my wardrobe doors then the memories would come flooding out. In no particular order: A dark blue Tom Ford dress with a long train that I wore to my friends' civil partnership ceremony in Brighton. The sleeves and the d?collet? are made from tulle. I got to go to a wedding in a dress with a train and I was like a little girl at the candy store. Except the train was nearly destroyed by Brighton pier when I was too happy to notice. My First Holy Communion dress (obviously white with a white veil in case anyone doesn?t know what a Communion dress looks like). I wasn?t blessed with the happiest childhood so that dress is a happy memory in a sea of not so happy memories. A Versace couture dress that was part of the same collection as the infamous Hurley dress. It?s a very simple design. Long, black, strapless, with one zip up the front (for the full length of the dress) and a similar one up the back. It?s very simple and completely stunning. It?s so well made that it holds you in everywhere and makes you stand upright, a bit like a wedding dress. My very first evening gown which was green and gold cotton and came with its own wrap. I wore it to death and was heartbroken when it fell past repair. A dress I coveted for years which belonged to a schoolfriend. It was yellow and purple (this was the 70s). Years later I figured out that it was a high street copy of an Ossie Clark. I would love to own an Ossie Clark dress. Thinking about dresses I have coveted, top of the list must be Audrey Hepburn?s Breakfast at Tiffany?s gown. Swoon. I have a few Alice Temperley dresses and I love wearing them - they always put me in a good mood because they?re mostly bright. My favourite is the ?Orchid? dress from about four years ago. It?s basically a bright pink dress with a big black orchid on it. I just can?t be miserable when I?m wearing that dress. The pink flowery tea dress I bought for my Godchild last year from Soup Dragon. She literally danced when she saw it. We were in Blue Mountain and she put it on there and then and had to be coaxed out of it at bedtime. There?s a girl after my own heart. And to think, all you boys have is your boring old cars. My heart breaks for you, it really does.

I went to bed at 4am but I'm bright and bouncy this morning thanks to a strong caffeine hit (which is now wearing off). I'm going bowling tonight at that place in Bloomsbury. I am actually expected to bowl, which is very inconvenient as it plays hell with a French manicure and they make you wear really ugly shoes. I may need a little energy boost before then. I'm loving the adorable little fellow in the photograph.

Don't worry about losing tickets. If you can't find them just ring TicketBastard two days before the event and tell them that your tickets haven't turned up and that it's pretty shoddy service and that you're not a happy camper and it's just not good enough. They'll put a duplicate set of tickets on the door for you. NEVER admit to having lost them or they'll just tell you to go take a jump. Doesn't work with tickets that you've had to sign for though. I would really like to see The Faces too. I was lucky enough to see Ronnie Lane MANY years ago at the Albert Hall with Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton and all sorts of really top people. I didn't know who he was at the time - wish I could put the clock back.
