Terroirs isn't it? 🤣

KK try The Gardens if you are in their catchment area. I was at DMC once, moved a long time ago to another practice which also had, let's say, some drawbacks, but have now (so far) been third time lucky at The Gardens. ETA: I've always found when 111 arranged appointments for me that they were for a specific time and I was seen on time. Maybe I was just lucky (or you were unlucky). Admittedly one time it was a bit time critical because it was A&E for possible poisoning 🤣🤣🤣

The main Post Office in Lordship Lane acts as a bank for First Direct customers. You can pay in cheques and cash there as you would do at an HSBC branch.

Surely you don't need an HSBC account to call them? First Direct may be able to help? You know you can use the Post Office if you are a First Direct customer?

Sorry, posted twice by mistake, duh 😶

But that's exactly my point! Ms does not denote marital status, in exactly the same way that Mr does not denote marital status. And I thought that "master" used to be used for young boys, though I don't know at what age they became "mister/Mr". And I know many women who are quite happy to use Miss and Mrs. Each to their own 🙂 But to the best of my knowledge adult men have never acknowledged their marital status by changing their title. I wonder why that would be 🙄

I agree. There is a safety issue, as well as a noise issue, which may affect others as well as the person letting of the fireworks. My sister once had a burning rocket land on her head.

Consultation on Public Art in Southwark
Sue replied to legalalien's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I did it. It took me ages, as there were so many options! There is one error where the survey asks how you think decisions should be made on public art. One of the options is "showcasing a shortlist". But it doesn't say how the winner is then chosen from the shortlist! And you are only allowed to choose one option 🙄 I had to choose "other" and then combine two of the options 🙄 -

I had no reaction to my first two jabs, but two days after the booster I felt quite ill and headachey. May be unrelated but there was no obvious other reason. They were all Pfizer.

Same at The Gardens. I'm glad they are taking precautions, unlike it seems most other places now 🙄

sainsbury local lordship lane incident
Sue replied to jojobaby's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Somebody in cardiac arrest. I don't think there was any criminal activity involved. Pulse returned after some considerable time and person taken to hospital. -
I've recently received a letter dated 17 September (thanks Royal Mail) which says "People over the age of 12 who were severely immuno-suppressed at or around the the time of their first or second dose should be offered a third dose of the vaccine to increase their chances of being protected against Covid-19 as part of their primary immunisation course ....... not everyone receiving this letter will be eligible for a third dose." and "Separately, the JCVI has published advice on the vaccine booster programme ...... it recommends that 'individuals who received vaccination in Phase 1 of the Covid-19 vaccination programme (priority groups 1 to 9) should be offered a third dose Covid-19 booster vaccine .
