  1. American tele is far more competitive, thus more quality. Another dislike of the Greens et al.
  2. It does so because it is a pay tv service and thus unavailable to the poorest in the US. How Chav can watch it with her Green glasses on escapes me.
  3. I do like HBO series. But I thought it was a for-profit, major US corporation? Surely many of you on this thread have spoken out against such evils and should be boycotting. Ummmm.....
  4. Actually I think there is a niche for an estate agent that offers good service. In the US, agents can command up to 10%. But they work like mad for you. They know your house inside and out and can answer any questions and sell it like mad. They return your calls, actually do give feedback and are proactive in selling (or finding) houses. If Foxtons or anyone else actually focused on basic customer service, they would be well worth 2.5%...or more. But that's the way of most businesses in the UK. Customer service is an alien concept.
  5. I think I consider 'ethnic cleansing' an act where the primary driver is ethnicity and changing it. It think here the ethnic change is an indirect result, not the primary driver.
  6. When it happened the other way round (mostly people of colour displacing the whiter shade) did that also constitute ethnic cleansing?
  7. And what about my buggy?
  8. Indeed but my horse and buggy were taken from me so I've progressed little really....I think they were redistributed. Come to think of it, didn't Chav note she's a new buggy?
  9. Of course it does gerry. It's just fair dues for gentrification. A redistribution of wealth if you will. The rich deserve the anti-social behaviour coming to them.
  10. 10 years of displacing Chavs from the birthright deserves something Rob. Lidl loyalty card?
  11. 1908? Surely we're talking a century prior?
  12. The policy of house price drops wass (b) & © causing serious mental harm to members of the group known as 'middle class'. The toff baiting: muggings, anti-social behaviour, demands for free housing, etc were further proof of a sustained policy by central government to bring about the mental distruction of this group and deliberate infliction of conditions calculated to bring about their destruction. (e)well here we have it. The children of the group known as the 'middle class' were forcibly transferred to another group known as 'the suburbanites'. Guilty as charged!
  13. I have read it, thank you. It was pure genocide.
  14. I'm keen to google and find the policy that led to the area going 'down market' decades or so ago. Genocide of the middle classes I recall.
  15. I've just withdrawn my support for your candidacy. That's a step too loony for my liking. You're still on my Christmas list though.
  16. Note she's gone all bashful on the site. Do party heavy handers require all candidates refrain from posting on internet chat sites as a precaution to a press disaster? Perhaps she needs to start removing posts now. As said before, her sexual erm insights aren't going to make good reading in the upstanding South London Press.
  17. Indeed. She puts our money where her mouth is. Hear hear!
  18. I thought we'd see a groundswell of support. Surely all of you are clicking on the link to read the article, yes?
  19. She comes across well. I think I might just vote for her via proxy.
  20. Now she's gone and done it.
  21. The demos changed enough to make an online Forum quite popular.
  22. Double standards afoot.... When the area was predominately white and immigrants (at the time) started moving in, I'm sure anyone bemoaning the change in the community make-up were called racists and bigots by the same ilk that today are crtical about displacement going the other way. I have no problems with any neighbours based on their colour, race, creed, etc. I just want people who respect the area and have pride. It seems ED is gaining on that front.
  23. I do love Christmas but focus on the food and drinks for gatherings. As for gifts, over my many, many years I've established a reputation among those I hold dear. I buy them a gift (or even two) over the year when I come across something I know they will love. I believe it far better to free myself to purchase something whenever and wherever I find something I just know will suit. It beats being forced to buy something, anything, just to meet a deadline. So dear Forumites...get on my good list*! I'm terribly generous. *Chav dear, you know you are already there
  24. When 'community spirit' is victorious, it's because there is concensus. When there is not, we fragment and shove spirit out the door. Unless of course we redefine 'community spirit' either in concept or geographically to suit our needs.
