If you care about them being ripped to shreds, or if you don't. If you really don't care, have a think about it from the fox's side. How can you not care? Unbelievable. Do you have pets? Dogs, cats, foxes, all feel you know.

Aren't you vegetarian? In which case it doesn't matter what you've never eaten. Just be proud that you're not eating it now.

Clever answer Loz, but just wondering which side you would be on. The victimised fox or the murderous sicko's? Or the no idea, don't have a clue, sitting on the fencers?
-
Are you pro fox hunting KK? I'm shocked.

Regardless of what can/can't be added to the thread, I'm so intrigued about something, I'm asking anyway: Loz, WHY don't you care?

I can see it from both sides here. Otta & red devil are going with his wishes, which is good. But you prefer to ignore them which is understandable. Sometimes when people retire they don't want a fuss, don't want to be the centre of attention etc. It's just the thought/embarrassment of it. Then when it happens and they get inundated with gifts and thanks, they are so grateful and appreciative. I don't live in ED and don't even know him but I'm sure he will love whatever you do. And he'll have a wonderful retirement experience to look back on.

If you Google 'pets welcome' lots of websites come up. I used a book called 'pets welcome' over 20 years ago when I wanted to take my dog on holiday and I see the book is still available (last published 2013) I don't know what it's like now but it was brilliant back then.

I agree Louisa. I don't venture across there very often. It's like another world.

And this IS England. So what's your point?

If I could drive JL, I'd have loved one of those for away matches! I can't even remember the last time I watched MOTD but I just have to stay up tonight to see those 3 goals.

I'd be interested to know who had a Saints or Palace correct result, let alone the score. I've always gone for both to win but today went for Villa & Liverpool. When we play this next season, will definitely go with my heart. My head knows nothing!

In the 70's it was expected so we all had matches, candles & torches at the ready. It's so unusual nowadays that when it does happen, we have panic attacks instead.

J, You misunderstood me. Horrid if you go elsewhere and are used to better. If you don't go elsewhere you think it's great because there's no comparison. I cooked at home all the time so was a treat to go out to Wetherspoons and we loved the food. I had a veggie breakfast there last year. Very cheap and no complaints at all. Probably the best breakfast I've had for ages.

Jeremy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I actually find the opposite is true! Good for a > pint (often reasonable selection of ales at good > prices) but the food is horrid... Horrid if you can afford to go elsewhere and are used to better. If not, it's a treat and the food is wonderful. For however many years (so many I can't remember) special treats, birthdays etc. were spent at Wethersoons. Either that or stay home. So I'll never run them down. The more Wetherspoons, the better.

Safety Concern for a Child (on the back of a bike)
aquarius moon replied to rubyroo's topic in The Lounge
Cyclist, I do agree with you about the dog thing. Like I said in my earlier post, I wouldn't even consider it with mine, but you know your own dogs better than anyone. Wearing a helmet? I would advise this. Even if it's not for you, I would put one on the children. And it's not harming them to wear one, is it? And it's all about confidence and how you feel when cycling. I have every confidence in myself, but unfortunately don't particularly trust all car drivers. Note I said ALL. The majority are fine and care about how they treat cyclists. But it only takes one idiot to cause an accident. So be aware that being so careful yourself doesn't guarantee safety for you, your children and your dogs. Good luck x -

Sorry, I'm not really into P.I.B. so haven't a clue what this post is about. ETA: Green Goose, I keep on spouting bigoted, left-wing tosh? Really?

What's with this age thing? Older people vote tory? Older people are pro capital punishment? And how old is older? 40's?, 50's?, 60's?, 90's? Ridiculous assumptions really because I know people in their 90's and 20's who have exactly the same opinions. It just depends on the individual person and what they believe in regardless of age.

So pleased for Swansea, but not so great for me! I told an Arsenal fan at the weekend that I was predicting a Swansea win and they said I was out of my mind. So I listened to them and changed my prediction. Learn from this: Ignore everyone else and listen to yourself, however ridiculous! Congrats RD, RC & maxxi for getting so many correct results/outcomes at such a crucial time & such a bad week. I don't even remember turning up ;-) And congats PD. You are doing so well.

Blah Blah, Thanks for responding to my post. Despite everything, it's nice to know we agree on something!

Quids, Why are you getting so angry? It's all irrelevant now. What's done is done. I fooking hate the Tories but is anything I feel going to make a difference? We all disagree. We all have our own opinions. But stress and anger isn't healthy. Relax and chill out.

Life in prison would be a deterrent. Knowing you'll be released in a few years isn't. And the prisoner would be off the streets forever and not be able to offend again. But a lethal injection? Killing, taking a person's life, approved murder? How can that be morally right? (sorry, I know it's off topic but I feel strongly about it)
