I post a wish, the next person comes up with some way to pervert it in such a way as to grant it in a really crap way. For example: I wish I had a million pounds... Next person: Ok, you win a million pounds, but it's in weight Got it? Right, lets begin... I wish i had the man of my dreams...

Is there not a Taxi etiquette thingyamy... when hailing a taxi you stand on the side of the road for the direction you want to travel in?

We have many words that we associate with things in life, the idea of this thread i hope is that one person leaces a word and then the next person associates with that word another word! Example: I leave the word Work The next message should be associated with work so you would leave something like : Wages I am sure you'll soon get the idea! The first word will be! Sun

If you really have issues with noise pollution have a thought for other residents in ED who are faced with similar disturbances. Those living on LL having to put up with the loud laughing, talking and shouting from late licensed establishments. Those living in, for example, Chesterfield Grove, who are woken up at all hours by the Iceland lorries that turn up when there is no one at the store to open the gates for them and so park up leaving their refrigerators on humming away. The dust carts, recycling carts, road cleaner sucker things, the unloading of Somerfield lorries with the cages being dragged along at all hours... the list goes on. If your argument is against Nero for an annoying air conditioning unit... REALLY!

I didn't realise they would be running at night... Why? Surely that's a waste of electricity and all that for an empty building?

It's times like these - the whole late nite/early morning up in town when ur trying to get home... one can actually be gald to be on a 24hour bus service! ;-) Yeah yeah I know it's a bugger to actually get the bus but still it's a lot cheaper than a black cab! :))

Apparently, according to my VERY reliable sources (the mad man who lives under the stage at work) it's all to do with "those bugs that are coming over with the wind from down that way". Does this mean anything to anyone?

Gosh the end of February seems such a long way off. I simply can't see that far ahead (I have enuff probs planning what to have for lunch!) Hmmm not sure how things are with rehearsals and such... I may be free, I may not :p I'm sure you lot wont notice either way :P

Only probs I've had would be them taking the longest route possible to get to ED - wouldve been quicker to get the bus! ?27 u say? cost me company ?40 from Waterloo to ED once... Were they ripped off? :o

Trying to sort out price codes for a big festival and trying to interpret wot they mean by 20% discount on all concerts in the "spec ial offer" bit of the brochure then see somewhere else "save 20% when you book X with X" :| on top of the original 20%??? is this bit not included in the "spec ial" offer? if so how can you say it applies to everything!!?!! grrrrr confused or wot! *sighs*
