  1. Dulwich woods often produces lots of blackberries. You'll have to work a bit to reach the biggest and best though!
  2. I would! yes it's a public space but that doesn't mean you can hog a space that doesn't belong to you without prior consent from the park. Could you imagine if everyone took that view and erected tents, gazebos or those silly glamping style tents for their own personal use on the same day? There wouldn't be any space for people and the view... well! Contact the park and see what's what.

Was, whatever the comment, truly from a representative of Kingsdale or someone, yet again, stirring? OR someone who just is not too sure on procedures ie how to use this forum? Given past issues on here it would be easy to understand if there were confusion... Curmudgeon why make such comments?

TQ you can't take a comment from experience from a few years ago seriously (sorry James!) Sounds like you're hot on the active side by contacting establishments to find out what's what in advance... good for you!
  5. what annoys me most about name changers is the "sport" it creates for some forumites who take great delight in figuring out who the "new" person could possibly be and then brag to others (who don't really tend to care) who they are without sharing the information as if it makes them higher up on the social standing of the forum or as if they know a great secret or something. Like seriously! I just don't play the game :-) I've never changed my name on this forum but on other social platforms I am known to have a large wardrobe of dresses to choose from depending on my mood. Choosing the right name can be difficult especially when others adapt your name to however it suits them. For example, under this name I am not particularly fond of being called Kal or Kalam but that's what others choose to identify me as and who am I to argue as it is part of the name I have chosen after all and if I really objected to it I would either say (here does not count) or change it to something I am happy with. Other times, in other places, I may just not feel like wearing dress X but feel like wearing dress D and so use that one instead. I have never hidden who I was/am as I don't have anything to hide and really don't see the point in becoming even more anonymous than current online activities allow you to be, although saying that it can be an interesting experiment to see how other regular users respond to what would normally be a new user...
  6. surely that would equal more poo no?
  7. Tylertoes what's with the attitude? You don't like what someone has said interpreting their comments in your own way, they were not being offensive to you yet you then respond with name calling and pointless/pathetic sarcastic comments. back on topic - it would be nice if this thread contained actual fact on what happened rather than gossip and chinese whispers... hmmm hoping for way to much I guess!

  10. The main q you should ask yourself... Did you give them your email address in the first place? I'm always getting such emails though never given my address. Don't open them. Just report them as a phishing scam to your email provider :-)
  11. What did you say to them?

I think in this instance I'd be blaming the owner for "owning" such a demonic creature. *insert a good measure of sarcasm* Some cats are just killers. Not their fault really it's just in the way they're made. Yes it's annoying but that's just the way it is, just because they're fed at "home" it doesn't stop the natural hunter surfacing when faced with a nice juicy looking feathery flying creature just within a paws reach.
  16. Are there any cyclists that have thoughts on these plans? I only ask as someone pointed out to me recently that reduction in road size could raise issues of road safety.
  17. Surely its not just in east dulwich?
  18. The whole "right to light" issue is very vague with the council as they do tend to take the view there is no right to light unless the structure is built right up to a window completely blocking everything. Its always in favour of the applicant hardly ever for those who will b stuck and effected by additional building works... ime
  19. darn you have such a way with words too HB!
  20. Tis times like this I thank you all for making me feel very young! :-)) ;-)
