  1. 6 bed terrace with contents = ?1200 not cheap
  2. Legally, they dont say they are a charity anywhwere on the leaflets - they will quite a company number - which people often assume is a charity number. They are not doing anything wrong - everything they say is correct - its just that a picture of babies or a dove and some rubbish about some people not bveing able to afford good clothes for the winter seems to be saying this is a charitable casue - its not
  3. they collect the stuff/ take other chariies bags, sort it and flog it on in Lithunaia & the baltics in markets scum they may out pictures of children etc on the leaflets and remark that the company provides employment for poor people in far away countries. the same people are alos involved in gun running and women trafficking - I kid you not - most hand guns in circulation in the UK at the minute are lithuanian sourced and smuggled. The prostitution side of the game changes daily, but there are still women from the baltics ( as well as form all eover the world ) being held as effective slaves to these people. dont give them anything take your stuff to MIND etc. the walk will do you good.
  4. its not a wind up - no for me anyway.
  5. Wot, like the first post on this thread ? "There is concern that this will attract drug users to the area, affecting safety (particularly at night) and leading to an increase in anti-social incidents. Others areas which have had pharmacies with similar services opened, have seen a rise in drug addicts present, used syringes discarded on to the streets and trouble caused by the people present. " BARA wrote that... but who is BARA ?
  6. Peter Sutcliffe claimed God gave him insructions via his bedside lamp maybe a similar deity / household appliance / human scenario was behind the petition wording.

Iv been to naples and its not a taste I would wish to remembet to be honest - Tirana felt a great deal safer and marginally cleaner
  8. Ive had a brace of the gaggaias and they aint what you expect they make a noise like a trabant engine with a loose scraper ring & shot bottom end. they really are grim - the finish is utterly shocking - more sharp edged tinplate than a 1950's Japanese toy robot. Th water takn on my model did seem to be constructed to make filling as complicated as possible. Go for simplicity - there a many decent priced espresso machineas about that do exactly the same job , but with no fancy dan frills - its a very basic concept - a water tank, a heater and a filter. you atre paying serious money for the gaggia badge and in my opinion, its not worth the hassle or the expense.
  9. Lithuanian charitee collector scum ( Not all lithuanians are scum BTW )
  10. 9/10 possibly more>:D<
  11. there is a v. glam top drawer lady working in the ED area at the minute/ for some time. V. glam I reiterate - I wont reveal the site for reasons of modesty, but very impressive! Snorky knows about these things as part of his resaerch for a book hes co writing, but does not partcipate.
  12. PS, I was going to post examples of how the drug users in the area affect us - many of which have been discussed on this forum very very recently, but to keep it all above board, have decided not to list them - some have not yet been charged or gone to court - just cos you dont see them, doesnt mean you dont see the effect of their actions - you may not even realsie it
  13. Dont be fooled by qualifications - ive got loads and Im as ignorant as they come But whether we want to acceopt this or not, there is a "community" of IV drug users in ED- probabaly a great deal larger than you think. The proximity to Kings & its facilities/ Maudsley probably helps boost the numbers. NX are not really about exchanging sharps - they are about getting people into the system for treatment , establishing routines and making contact - this is treatment rather than a sop to the skaggies - its more than just a NX - its about health and stability. I dont support the skaggies without question By the way - but accept that they need treatment to stop their problem spiraling and directly affecting me & my neighbours. Speak to the local filth and you7 will find that mini explosions of petty crimes in the local area - clios having their doors wrenched open and their stereos nicked, garden sheds broken into etc - are often traceable back to a local user who has lost the plot and needs assistance to get back to some kind of normailty - thats part of what NX are for - thats what meth dispensers are for. Fine - BARA have done a sterling job - they have shut the door on actually allowing an argueably expansionist and profit focused business from providing a service which can benefit the area in the long term. Unfort, the skaggies wont go away as easily as that. They are amongst us, even if you cant see them form behind your national trust paint glossed front door with period fittings.
  14. Im not in a positon to comment, as the minimum sample size required for an objective answer is too large
  15. Snorky is excating his partially collapsed back garden anderson shelter, with the aim of refursbuishing it to a high standard and stocking its shelves with tinned goods bought cheaply from Lidl. Snorky further intends to create a moat of burning ( carefully stockpiled ) oil that he has aquired from the waste sump oil tank of the Kwikfit on Grove vale - this should keep back the hordes of frantic ED residents , running amok on the streets clad in only animal skins and crocs, searching throught the smouldering skeletons of LL shops, searching for the holy grail of stone ground Oliver oil and tinned cassoulet. Snorky hopes that coming EDaggeddon does not involve flooding, else his carefully designed underground lair may well be useless and snorky may be forced to sratch amongst the wreckage of MooToo for useful items ( not very likely )
  16. You know where you stand with big business, whether you agree with them or not.

  18. Theres always a "way" of palming off the cost onto someone else - HH is slippery enough to know that. Sadly this chap little gimmick often works, dazzling people for long enough to get them onside. I however have pride and respect for myself - a few drinks and a canape or two will not rid me of my utter cynicism of the whole back slapping, pocket lining political circus typified by Harman and her kind. Proud of your involvement in Iraq Harriet ? would you vote for it now ? still, a few hundred thousand dead is a small price to pay for your career on the gravy train.Still at least you have your plus side - like your support of ID cards and expanded anti terrorism laws ( even though the vote for eerak invasion probabaly turned more people into potentuial terrorists than any other event in the UK) you and your kind make me sick Harriet. I dont know how you sleep at night Im sure your simpering lackeys will check out this post and may even attempt what is now refered to as an " Osborne Stewart" defence - i.e. a bogus post intended to promote a cause or opportunity on a public forum
  19. Is HH paying for this out of her own pocket or is it expesnes ? oh what a silly question.
  20. rents not cheap now.
  21. IM actually going for a pair of Polecats , which apparently the cats are a bit spooked by - if they are brought uop correctly. they make fantastic loyal affectionate pets and the kids will love them - they can also aout of their owaccord and come homea t night for a bit of raw meat and a sleep in their hutch. they are alos happy sleeping in a bed in the kitchen, which may sort out my mouse problem Im being serious as well

  23. Bellend is OK best patties in SE London a strange juxtaposition of trad vs. new arrivals - sometimes they butt up against each other = friction its not a village tho' - thats just estate agent talk
  24. we are breeding a whole generation of consumers - they are here to consume the vast swathe of pre planned obselete tat that invades evert single aspect of their life , yet they are smart enought to recognise the brands, but dumb enough to not realise what they are being used as a sort of happy shopper version of "The Matrix" Im not saying these kids are blamless, but they are also victims of our present culture - how sick is it that people pay ?100 for an Ipod that deso exactly the same job as something costing 20% of tis price, or buy a mobile phone costing ?250 thats again does the same job as one costing ?9.99 on a contract. Thye are restless becasue the lives they lead is deeply, intrinsitcally unsatisfying, but they dont yet know it. I see it every day, when a young single mother of 2 in our street takes her kids to school - if she isnt talking loudly to her friends on her mobile, then she is threatening her young kids for misbehaving or shouting at everyone who passes a glance her way. its sad. its a sign of dissatisfaction that will also affect the next generation, their values and their ethos.
