  1. I received a letter saying there would be no group due to lack of interest.....
  2. Just want to bump Jovaner who has done a couple of fantastic jobs for us and has just been round to quote on another. He's got space for some work before April (usually heavily booked up) so if you need any decorating done I highly recommend him. Details all the same as above.
  3. My son was referred to sunshine house - turned out he had hypermobility in his hands was taking all his effort just to hold a pencil! Get a referral from school or Gp.
  4. I'm assuming they said yes to the offer of collector's to put off the massive issue they have with shoplifting. If you have an email of who to contact about their choice of 'charity' happy to email against their presence.
  5. I feel I have asked this in the past so apologies in advance if I have! I can't see the thread... Planning a family holiday. One kid wants Greek Myths the other a pool/beach. I have never driven abroad so realistically a no car holiday... Any suggestions/recommendations tips gratefully received. Thanks in advance :)
  6. Yep, well done James - You are rightly very proud.
  7. If this is your bike it's on the corner of Bassano street/Lordship Lane now....sorry with kids so can't take with me....very obviously just had lock cut.....
  8. I think James is still up for helping out with local issues...James are you there?...any thoughts?
  9. Think esph gym might have one
  10. Just remembered the Young Samurai series too....
  11. The large St Christopher's charity shop has a great teenage section up next to the adult books. My son loved the Cherub series at that age and they often have those....pretty full on I think but apparently well written too....worth trying Majorie Blackman too...
  12. Son keen to have a kick around, preferably on a Saturday afternoon. Any pointers? Thanks.
  13. NCS looks great - thanks for the tip....PGA holidays do some great last minute sales...

  16. Is there a cheaper way to get tickets than direct from Eurostar...trying to keep family trip costs down!! Any tips very welcome :)
  17. Well done for getting photos - it is one of big pluses of mobile phones in my opinion.. Harris will take it very seriously from what I've heard.
  18. Great - thanks for this :)
  19. My yr8 son would like to play Warhammer but he doesn't know anyone locally who also fancies it. Wondered if anyone else in East Dulwich is in the same situation. At least it's not a screen! PM me if interested in trying to set-up a game.
  20. Hello James, I am finding the ?16 cost for collection of bulk waste really galling. I have 1 armchair to collect but am allowed up to 10 items. I have asked a neighbour if they have anything they would like to get rid of and we will share the cost. I also thought that if other items come up I would be able to amend the collection but no, once I have handed over the money I am not allowed to add anything else to my collection. Why has the cost gone from 0 - ?16?! and why is it so inflexible that if I find an old stereo that can go I have to fork out another ?16?! rather than add it to my collection. I completely understand why people fly tip now, what's the incentive not to? ?16 is a lot of money and I do believe that bulk waste should be part of residential waste collection. I do not have a car so I have no alternative. I understand this was a Labour council decision.
  21. Interesting question. My 13yr old would love to do some part-time work too but even charity shops won't let them until they're about 16 :( Real shame as they are keen and it's something that seems good to encourage. I was babysitting at 12 but I think 14 is more the beginning age for that now...Interesing to see if anyone has any ideas...but think law/insurance etc is putting people off employing this age...
  22. Is this near the The Lordship pub above the beauticians? If so a whole section of concrete came down when I walked by on the other side of the road....
  23. Any local clubs? Thanks
  24. If you've got young kids and can go in term time then it's well worth it...it always just felt like a holiday not having to worry about how to entertain them all day....swimming and parks make life easy...I would always book in for the moonlight spa on the day of arrival and night before we left (?30 3hrs)...with ptnr staying with kids...figured I needed the spa more!
