  1. pk, they are separate things, on e is not dependent on the other. the FB post has ill-intent, whereas I believe TheCat does not have ill-intent. unrelated. different. get it ? pk Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > KidKruger Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > I actually saw a FB post the other day where > > someone had forwarded a post from Leave.EU, > which > > asked the questions "why aren't people all out > > protesting about the stabbings in Reading ?". 2. no, I mean a real one, to the back of the skull. kinda thing. Peckhamgatecrasher Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > JohnL - rather it were improvements on a > clarinet. > > KK - do you mean retaliate with Peter Gabriel? > > Thank you, Spartacus (said tartly).
  3. shout out the window Ronnie what's the problem FFS
  4. looks like ass holes have learned how to type, or got their Mum to do it for them.
  5. Sledgehammer should do it. Under those conditions, everybody will understand. Otherwise, shout at him saying how crappy his tunes are and laugh, loud.
  6. I actually saw a FB post the other day where someone had forwarded a post from Leave.EU, which asked the questions "why aren't people all out protesting about the stabbings in Reading ?". A direct reference to BLM being (I presume) unpatriotic / non 'keeping our own shop in order'. Gobsmacked !
  7. Are there signs on the gates advising that during this period it's dogs ON LEAD ONLY ? If not, users of the space may believe they are still allowed to have dogs off lead in the areas usually allowed. However, long-term, that wouldn't help cats necessarily (when the rules go back to normal).
  8. Also, same may not be said if was a bloke banned from Twitter.
  9. Ex-servicemen can?t be yobs ? Right.
  10. Her response to BLM was ?what about White Lives Matter ??.
  11. The Nazi Party were actually liberals, it was just their name which misled people into thinking they were actually Nazis, didn?t you know ?! diable rouge Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Giving Nazi salutes around the Cenotaph isn't > far-right enough for Unk...
  12. Thanks Springtime.
  13. ? Totally agree. And there are so many people more dangerous than KH on Twitter?. Springtime, I?m curious too (not being a Twatter user), what names are more dangerous than Katie Hopkins on this social media tool. Or were you just saying it not actually knowing whether it?s true or not ? I don?t mind either way, but it just seems a weird thing to suggest without backing up, especially when asked.
  14. No, no, no ! Very dangerous advice for your average person on the street. If you?re not used to hitting people and incapacitating them in one blow, why would it suddenly work when you?re caught unawares, unprepared, and you?re inexperienced ?! I suppose one could argue there is a ?chance?, but let?s be realistic it?s extremely unlikely and actually bad advice. For balance, I would do what you suggest but I?ve boxed and had fights outside before (including attempted muggings around ED and Peckham), which is wholly different. SpringTime Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > KK if your assessment is good and you hit the > mugger first (and it's almost always best to get > your own shot in first) you surprise and > potentially incapacitate the mugger which gives > you time to move away. >
  15. I can?t believe Katie Hopkins has children, the poor kids, what the hell does she tell them / what belief system are they being brought up in ?!
  16. Very few people are going to be minded to fight back in this situation, they'll just try to get away, getting hit and losing possessions in the process. The fight doesn't start until one of the muggers hit you, by which time it may be too late to defeat them. Also, if you make the first hit you're liable to be prosecuted for assault cos the muggers will say it was self defence and they were just asking for directions. And these guys know that. 17. Took them long enough, what?s their excuse ? You?d assume some economic/financial reason provoked this move.
  18. No point trying to apply logic to Brexit, is there ? There's no logic to racism, xenophobia or Nationalism, either. It was a knee-jerk vote, based on lies.
  19. also same if you use the words, cunt, twat, and wanker. ETA: ..and also fucker !
  20. what about the "statue-protectors", what section of society are they from ? uncleglen Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Blah Blah Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > Uncleglen has a track record of dog whistling to > a > > racist/ xenophobic agenda. 21. fly paper. won't look pretty but too much effort swatting them. they love fly paper. and so will you.
  22. That's a fair observation of NZ, Rockets. However, I can't help thinking the reason we are in the situation we are in in the UK is to do with more than just geography ! Which I think may be the point Sue was making, the two Govts have acted worlds apart, which I think has a massive bearing on why we are where we are now.
  23. There seems to be a distinct shortage of people who've contracted the disease, been on ventilators laid on their stomachs for days or longer, being fed via a tube, who are advocating 'chilling-out', getting on with our lives, or taking it easy on the distancing. For the life of me (pun intended) I can't figure out why ? And the struggle to return to 'normal', WTAF is that all about ?! For many people it was shit before, why go back to it, short sightedness could miss an opportunity here for everyone to re-engineer, reset expectations and live a happier life.
  24. yeah I'm high-risk Foxy (as are you), so your little-exposure can do one !
  25. Possibly ask the water board confirm what external (their side) drainage is in place. Any answer may indicate/limit possibilities of what is feeding into their infrastructure from that side of the house i.e. if they say no receiving pipes at the front on their side, there is unlikely to be pipes feeding out here from the house.
