  1. Getting in the position where you have to hit someone - assuming as you or someone else is in immediate danger - is really a personal failure. Step in and lecture him on his behaviour would be more my idea of success.
  2. I would say someone with mental health problems can still separately be a nasty person as can any member of the population. It's not this thread but the linked threads clicking through that maybe are worrying some (the lady who had her teeth knocked out - although I'm not 100% sure there is a proven link anyone reading this will click through) There's no call for vigilantism though.
  3. For some reason my Lawrence Fox search yielded this example of free speech :) https://www.theguardian.com/stage/2016/mar/10/laurence-fox-c-word-heckler-the-patriotic-traitor
  4. Well first one I google says it was a proposal https://www.thejournal.ie/ursula-vaccine-rollout-5350362-Feb2021/ Although the below is quite a confusing sentence "European Affairs Minister Thomas Byrne yesterday said the Irish government is seeking a new safety clause to prevent other suggestions for using Article 16."
  5. keano77 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Article 16 was triggered and then un-triggered > because of an International outcry. > > Silly billy EU. It never actually got triggered - VDL suggested it may be(or someone in her office did). Formalities would need to be done to actually trigger it.
  6. Unless Keano is talking about Covid restrictions - https://www.belfastlive.co.uk/news/ni-residents-stopped-border-checkpoints-19793177 But someone got a fine and their car confiscated by South Wales police for going ghost hunting in Mumbles from Cardiff lat week so you can't say that's a special case
  7. A border seems to have been imposed (by the agreement signed by the UK government) between GB and NI. The NI RoI border has no restrictions.
  8. Oh Boris - Noooo You've misled parliament again. Are you going to resign ? https://goodlawproject.org/update/johnson-misled-parliament/?utm_source=Twitter&utm_medium=social%20media&utm_campaign=bj%20uc%200503%20tw

Just checked if you can take ham into Australia : Uncanned meat (including ham, bacon, salami and sausages) from all other countries Uncanned meats (includes vacuum sealed items) are not allowed into Australia unless accompanied by an import permit. https://www.abf.gov.au/entering-and-leaving-australia/can-you-bring-it-in/categories/food
  10. Yes - just flew past me swinging left and right as if looking for something (not sure if that is normal) - and a few police sirens too.
  11. We're a third country so of no concern to the EU except for what they can get from us. Their main concern would be that Le Pen wins the French election but even she won't take France out of the EU - as the Express itself admits - she would try to reform from within. Same in Italy. https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/1402535/marine-le-pen-news-eu-eurozone-reforms-macron-poll-spt It's not the EU itself in danger - it might be the current leadership. Reading further - her plan for France is to become the new Britain within the EU - thus take all the benefits we had for France. LOL.
  12. The health Secretary is so happy and content with the way things are going he's been seen jumping over fences. He loves his job. https://www.standard.co.uk/news/politics/matt-hancock-exercising-st-james-s-park-b922368.html

  14. Sajid Javid resigned when he was told to replace all of his advisors and submit to Dom Cummings - thats the last one I can remember. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2020/feb/13/sajid-javid-resigns-as-chancellor-amid-boris-johnson-reshuffle
  15. Neall Patterson making this point today. Why should Sturgeon resign when nobody else does for worse.
  16. At least it's a property company - some freeholders are just there to pick up the ground rent and whatever else they can get.
  17. Chick Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > What does MYN mean? Probably the name of the freeholder Lots of developers made money by selling freeholds to companies who were in it to profit (hedgefunds etc.)
  18. I'd guess Ian Blackford the Westminister head of the SNP would take over ? Would be no change in policy - may even be a harder line. She's giving evidence now - I can't see her resigning. No-one in the UK government resigns anymore whatever the accusations, why should she ?
  19. Donations that came into Trump's campaign were considered by him as his (that isn't how it usually works) https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/dec/19/trump-raised-200m-from-false-election-claims-what-happens-to-the-money-now That's only 100 million though

He's back "The embittered former commander in chief, however, was locked in his false but damaging alternative reality, to which millions of his followers subscribe, that he was the victim of a massive election fraud effort." Go CNN https://edition.cnn.com/2021/03/01/politics/cpac-2021-trump-speech-american-democracy/index.html
  21. I actually saw this on Sunday evening in the sky to the west and thought for a moment we were going the way of the dinosaurs - it was huge. Then it disappeared - still in the sky (burned up I guess). https://www.theguardian.com/science/2021/mar/01/uk-meteor-huge-flash-as-fireball-lights-up-skies
  22. I have a horrible feeling that Original Yuppies mutated into Trumpists and EU Leavers. There is a similarity if you consider the original Yuppies being the loud traders of the 1980s.
  23. If the same person, you get the suspicion the political stuff is a red herring and he likes to have young women under his control. He seems rather dangerous.

Second time I lost all memories of the previous two years for a few hours. I heard one nurse say he's had a bad reaction to his meds as I just ranted it was 2009 not 2011 and why were they lying to me.
  25. I loved this one http://transpont.blogspot.com/2017/03/recent-street-art-captain-america.html
