I guess Im just trying to work out whether she yelled at you because you went across a pedestrian crossing whilst she was on it with her child?
  2. I hate to state the obvious but what about the fact it was a pedestrian crossing?
  3. Im on Ferris currently (about to move to oakhurst) and I find that part of ED great as I am right in the middle of ED or Peck Rye stations so I have more choice of transport (which includes buses) rather than primarily being closer to the one of them and still only a 5 min walk to LL.. Hope you find the right spot for you!!
  4. We are a no for this time around sorry.. x
  5. Big5 - totally agree!! S agree with you and big5 that a single thread would be better besides if I guess if it affected transport and then a sep one could be done as it is easier to read from blackberrys etc as you wont have to trawl through it just in case something has happened.. big kisses boys x
  6. S - I dont think that people are putting up a thread every time they hear a siren.. To be honest if someone gets stabbed, killed or mugged (or whatever) then I would like to be informed.. Its not about scaremongering it is just about giving people a heads up about what is going on.. I have seen on the forum that others are saying that there is no more crime here than there was before it is just now there is a vehicle to let others know about it (i.e. the forum) and the yellow signs have gone done.. But without saying I believe that crime is going up how do we actually know its not? Where are stats to show that crime isnt? Just a thought..

Had this one since Jan 08 so that def might be it but I never have any trouble at any other station, I just zip right through, will look in to it though for sure..

Took it out of my wallet and no read at two ticket booths, guy read it with his machine adn then it went green. Slightly rude ticket booth watching lady attendant then abruptly told me to stand back and she managed to get it to work but trust me it took her two goes.. I think something is not quite right with the readers if Im honest as there was about 10 people behind me all needing to do the same thing.. J
  20. Morning Barry, Love reading your thread, you are doing a great job. Just a quickie on the oyster readers at peckham rye, for some reason I would say 3 out of 5 times it wont read my oyster yet at all the other stations I have a 100% hit rate. I then (after trying both ticket booth things) take it to the people who are watching the ticket booths and they read it and it comes up green every time (it is a season ticket so no way it will not work). Anyhoo are they testing and fixing things as they are going along i.e. not reading the oysters properly or are they just duff readers? thanks Jules x
  21. Its def 99 if you buy it monthly, if you are lucky enough to get a season ticket loan with your work then it works out at 85 a month all in. jules xo
