  1. God thank fcuk for that Michael! I was beginning to think I was the only carnivore here.

  3. Me and miss Wolf will be having her Shepherds pie tonight. Several bottles of wine for afters.
  4. In the wanted and recommendations section some of you are looking for bits of furniture etc... Well the link I've provided will put you in touch with people all over London looking to give stuff away for free. I use it and I've got a nearly new set of sofas which I'm sitting on now and all sorts of shite for free. Give it a go. http://www.gumtree.com/london/free-stuff_120_1.html
  5. I'm not a great fan of Tom Cruise but he was very good in Valkyrie. Also his resemblance to Staufenberg is incredible.
  6. One point that I've noticed is missing from Harriet Harmans piece is that the areas she wants to improve have a very transient population compared to the middle class areas such as (lets face it) east Dulwich and Dulwich village who's residents are in the position of owning the property they live in so are going to be sticking around for longer. Also I think that some consideration should be given to the Aesthetic appeal to places such as Camberwell and Walworth which have very little green space and as a consequence very little trees. Dulwich and it's neighbours Forest hill and Honor oak have alot of green spaces and in the last few years Lewisham council has encouraged it's population to make the place alot greener and pleasing on the eye which has seen it win several London bloom awards. Basically what I'm saying is that if you give the population something nice to look at then perhaps they'll take more pride in it compared to the concrete behomoths that Camberwell and Peckham have become. Just my opinion.
  7. Good lad although you should have paddled him with your cheese board for good measure. Well done and I bet it felt good.
  8. Oooooooooo..........don't ave it.
  9. And they're bumpkins who marry their family. Come on, we've all seen those big eared boys getting fitted for their wedding dress.

If they do that the majority of you will end up giving it to that conwoman of varying description.
  16. Thats funny, I could have sworn she was recruiting for the Jehovahs witnesses.
  17. I think it's a bit rich that a standard bottle of Jack Daniels is ?2 more in DKH than at Forest hill Sainsbury's but I follow the simple rule that where ever you open your wallet in east Dulwich you're usually getting ripped off. Apparently posting bail at Dulwich nick is twice as much as at Lewisham police castle, the cheek.
  18. If you could pop a few Valiums in my inbox that would be great. Although I have been indoores for the past two and a half days so perhaps my four walls are getting the better of me after all. Paid today and back to work next week (I'll leave you alone for now DM, BUT ONLY FOR NOW!)XX.
  19. Yeah but she's not short of a tall story though, sorry couldn't help it.
  20. Because Kylie Minogue isn't chav scum.
  21. Have any of you actually read what these guys talk about? As much atmosphere as a librarians stag night. I agree HeidiH and DM, Norwood flotsam.
  22. I defianatly agree with point number two concerning green power.

I'm next door in Forest hill and we get some of the nutters you suffer from. A few years back I kept encountering this woman who claimed to have Leprosy and she had some alarming wounds that looked like burns on her hands which added weight to her story of needing cash for treatment. I never gave anything which is just as well as she said her illness caused her skin to drop off but I know that Leprosy causes the sufferer to feel little pain when they burn or cut themselves. She used to appear at forest hill train station about 4 years ago.
  24. This doesn't really affect me as I don't live in east Dulwich but from the looks of things some of you are encountering these people in the street when they're not begging. A lot of you have camera phones so why not try and get a a few snaps of the dirty dozen and put the up on the Forum.
  25. The teddy bears great. Over in forest hill we had a rather odd and some thought frightening snow man that had an Occult feeling to it. It was outside the Derby hill estate on Dartmouth rd. There was an Igloo in Crystal Palace park near the swings.
