  1. The smell of taking back control - hoping other countries take mercy and not follow their laws while we sort out the mess we created Chief of the Cold Chain Federation, @ColdChainShane to @IanKingSky: "This is the crucial thing here: Ultimately UK gov't can't do much about this any more, it's now about what the French, Irish and EU authorities want to do." Doesn't feel like 'taking back control'. ~AA https://twitter.com/BestForBritain/status/1347499227384066048/video/1
  2. It sure wasn?t remainers going around for the last 4 years bigging up Trump From Farage, to Johnson, the haunted pencil and various Brexity pundits - they were all on board the Trump train
  3. " Apparently he has released a statement promising a peaceful transition to Biden " I don't think he mentioned Biden - he promised a peaceful transition is all
  4. Or you could just start and finish with controlling borders The U.K. made a big deal about being able to do just that not so long ago Turns out they didn?t want to when time came
  5. For people (believe it or not, they already are) crying 'Population!', if we bring Australia's up to the level of the UK's, then its total Covid deaths would be 2,426 - not over 76,000. And if we bring the UK's population down to Australia's, its death toll would still be 28,585.
  6. Quite something to hear that Australia has fewer deaths in 10 months than U.K. has just in one day today and claim it?s ?nothing of note? You?re such a big man S
  7. uk has suffered more covid deaths just today than Australia has since the beginning of the pandemic Spartacus. You are an idiot with your china bollix
  8. I could be misremembering this but... I seem to recall us ?elite remoaners? warning about trump 5 years ago. And the resident centre-right sensibles all telling us we were, well, elite remoaners. Trump and Brexit. Same bedfellows. Same chaos. Same excuses
  9. I didn't spin it at all - I pasted a tweet verbatim It's the government spinning the fact that front line are being tardy - so regardless of production issues or no, it seems rum to blame front line Jezza was never going to win last election, I don't like the man. But had he won, I know you would be blaming a labour govt even if it was doing a better job - so don't bother projecting onto me
  10. it's a counterpoint from a GP - it's as valid as an article in a UK paper
  11. "GPs up and down the country are desperate to start vaccinating their patients - yet cannot, because *even while* @BorisJohnson talks the talk about huge vaccine roll out, his government has failed to supply these practices with *any* doses. It?s sheer dishonesty & incompetence. "
  12. "It's to do with the fact that in the EDF we have freedom of speech On the North Korea Forum, they won't Light bulb gone on yet ?" But people know those things already - why are you repeating them now and on this thread? It's not relevant to the subject under discussion
  13. the thread was started to say how lucky the UK was to not be in the EU Not sure what North Korea has to do with anything
  14. God help us all, it did. Adding insult to injury
  15. Christ almighty ?Tory bastards? was the phrase made famous by Major Not history repeating itself.
  16. Ah bless. Those who don?t know their history are doomed to treat it It was a phrase made famous by John Major. Who last time I checked was tory prime minister at the time
  17. Inside 72 (@KK)
  18. Good job he hasn?t led us to leave a neighbouring trade bloc because of his ?positive? outlook and convincing many to go with him eh? ?Prosper mightily? my arse Alas
  19. "But to say Boris is a joke is a bit laughable really. ? Goes on tv this morning to say schools are perfectly safe and in same breath he might have to close them soon Meanwhile in the hours since schools are emailing parents to say they are not safe and moving to remote learning But he?s not a joke
  20. Trinny isn't getting a hard time for "linking to various articles" like other people do, or because they happen to be a different view To the specific point - as of Jan 2 2021 it does appear as if there is concern about EU procurement of vaccine. Just as there is concern about UK procurement and deployment. No-one is looking in great shape But if someone (let's call them Trinnydad) decides that only the EU has a problem and therefore it somehow justifies the massive self-own that is Brexit then yeah they will correctly get picked up on it (plus TD is knowingly doing this - across multiple threads that they are starting themselves. lets not be all defensive on their behalf )
  21. Trinny is just part of a wider Leave bloc* - from Farage, to Redwood and all of the Tory "bastards", they will never ever be happy. It's not enough to be out of the EU - they want it destroyed And will they be happy then? Of course not
  22. And now Louisa is back The next edf drinks post-covid is going to be a blinder
  23. Also Brandon Lewis today ? The unique position that Northern Ireland business now have, as an integral part of UK market & able to trade with EU, opens huge opportunity for inward investment, business & job growth. Globally unique opportunity. Sounds great. Maybe rest of U.K. should have this amazing opportunity eh?
  24. It?s only been 2 days and we already have Brandon Lewis saying there is no border in the Irish see and Duncan smith talking about conquering the world again. But sure - these are the smart guys I know you don?t have the highest respect for the government - but at some point you are going to have to link their ineptitude with their enthusiasm for Brexit. That is the only reason they are there. The smart tories got ditched/bailed from the madness
