There is no hope for Glen Absolutly irredeemable Not even sure his outbursts today are allowed in forum rules tbh. But wherever he lurks, here or elsewhere, he will be there spreading his filth and poison.

Border around Kent. I?m guessing some of you are totally ok with this as you knew what you were voting for? It?s not totally nuts or anything?

Prestige is still Nolan's best film

Some good points in this article https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2020-09-21-microsofts-acquisition-of-bethesda-is-all-about-game-pass

Bethesda have been ropey for a few years now - I don't think they have any system sellers in their IP. Elder Scrolls and Fallout are massive but traditionally cross platform I think Microsoft have done really well in recent years to claw back from the disaster of the XBOX One launch - but not sure this purchase is all that wise. We shall see Also - The Gaming Room is here: /forum/read.php?20,49738,page=50

You clearly have a capacity for respect for whittle that he doesnt deserve What is it he has ever done to said that makes you defend him like this?
-
To be fair to him, what he said was being prepared to deal with terrorist attacks was part of living in a major city. Having the resources to deal with the fallout from any attack That seems entirely reasonable and not clumsy to me - any mayor of any City should hold that view

Wasn?t it Hancock saying London is heading for lockdowns well? What would Khan?s hidden agenda be? Are Hancock and Johnson in on this hidden agenda??????

Peter whittle Didn?t know you?d gone to so much trouble there seenbeen. Quite the authority Jesus wept

"Red letter day. I happen to agree with all of this Sep" I don't think it's quite the first time but notable all the same! " One could argue they weren't trying with Boris" Now HERE is a man who is destryoing the country. That said - it's easy to forget now that he is on his way out already but the Tories were definitely trying with him - he was popular, had a sheen of positivity and delivered a big majority All a house built on sand of course - but he delivered in the short term ( for the Tories. And to borrow my Khan argument, he was up against a visibly useless Corbyn who would have struggled against anyone. Goldsmith/Bailey included)
-
"He's destroyed this countries capital & is now intent on destroying London's history." could we go back in time to the last time London (this countries capital lest we forget) was up to scratch? Like, name the year? Now please illustrate exactly what is wrong with it in 2020 and detail how it's on SK Thanks (my position on SK is that he has largely been underwhelming, even before covid. The arrival of Johnson and his open hostility and obvious maneouvres to deprive Khan of power have given me some sympathy towards him. And then there is the obvious point about how he acts as a ligntning rod for the.....less savoury elements of society. I don't think anyone who criticises Khan (often with good reason) should ignore this element. So yes - he hasn't been great. But he was up against Zac Goldsmith (no!) and next Shaun Bailey (no x 2) So....)

?Anti british? Amazing language And after the abuse Khan received this week (well, all the time - but we got to see video footage this week) ?Anti-british?. You should be ashamed birdie. But then people like you don?t do shame do you. ?Proud brit? more like

They accuse you? You mean it isn?t true?

the problem with calling Remainers "the other side" is that we haven't caused any problems. Everything that has happened since 2016 was foreseen and was not a problem prior to the referendum As things stand on Sep 17 2020, we have Dominic Raab humiliating himself and his country, showing his ignorance of the GFA to the USA - the same USA people like him want a trade deal with post-transition People in Ireland are genuinely outraged at Britain's willingness to disrupt decades of peace And all because Johnson signed a treaty and put it to the UK electorate mere months ago and now doesn't like it (amazing how he gets to change his mind but the outcome of the referendum is sacrosanct...) This is a massive problem - caused entirely by the same faultlines in the Tory party that led to the referendum itself - if I am "on the other side" how can I be in any way culpable or even "equally" culpable? We have pointed out problems from the get go only to be handwaved away (and much worse - newspaper frontpages calling us traitors and saboteurs) - so don't handwave this away again.
-
" sounds reasonable and open minded....but apparently im the one who's arrogant....i have to laugh or i'll cry." I'm just pointing out observaable facts - whole world can see it - only a subset of people in this country can't But if I'm wrong I'm sure you will be able to point out the ways

"no debate here" A quick look at discussions across the EU, friends and family from EU countries - there is plenty of debate And it isn't just us uk -based remainers in a "circle jerk" There are existential and major condequences of the UK govt actions. keano in space of a couple of posts is claiming Britain has higher food standards whilst simultaneously saying EU shouldn't give a shit of Britain starts selling chlorinated chicken across the border Just "sighing" and saying remainers aren't interested in engaging is complete arrogance EVery single prediction made by leavers in 4 years has proven to be untrue - be it "no one is threatinging to leave teh SIngle MArket" Hannan, or "we hold all the cards" etc etc , whilst everything remainers said is proving true "this will be a shitshow with grave consequences for Ireland" - and for what? The current chaos Not only do we have to deal with this chaos - we have to deal with contuinous duplicity and cherry picking There is nothing to look at and be proud of if you are a Leaver - look at the state of it UK govt promising it needs to break international law and you tell people like me off on here? Behave

That?s enough now child.

Brexit is all about U.K. taking control of its borders. It?s you who is obsessed with borders. The eu isn?t imposing a border. Brexit and leaving single market and customs union require jt. Like breathing requires oxygen. And the U.K. signed and voted for the border in the Irish Sea It?s literally what happened.
-
We don?t dismiss the notion. We have just tried to point out the realities. Because The U.K. comprises a land border with the eu. It?s something people like you never have a moments thought to. We?ve been asking for answers for ages. You don?t have any. So those are the choices

Doesn?t an oven (well, many of them) have a requirement for a specific type of socket behind the oven. It?s not just a case of a 13amp plug and fuse in many cases. It?s why I?ve been putting my replacement on the long finger for years https://chefspick.co.uk/cooker-13-amp-plug-socket/

This is very good as welL https://flipchartfairytales.wordpress.com/2020/09/14/britains-reputation-trashed-for-the-sake-of-a-three-word-slogan/

FoT has been consistently excellent throughout Brexit - cheers for that Alan I do wish more British people would read more media from other countries. Ireland for example consumes all of the media UK does as well as it's own - but very few Brits bother checking anything out from Ireland.
