  1. Kalamity Kel, I'm amazed that you feel the need to stick up for this cretin so much. I've been on his bus a couple of times, and both times he's been distinctly unpleasant. Once my Oyster had unexpectedly run out of credit and when I politely asked him if he had change of a tenner (fully prepared for him to say 'No, sorry' and for me to have to go and charge the card up), he made a huge spectacle of the whole process, turning of the engine, huffing and puffing and mumbling as he looked through his change box and then finally pulling a fiver out of his jacket before complaining to me "See, I've had to use my own money now" to which I asked him if he would be OK without it and that I was sure he would get it back at some point throughout the day. If I hadn't been running to a schedule I would have got off the bus and waited for the next one. As it was I had to sit downstairs quite close to his cab so witnessed more of his odd, nasty behaviour. At every stop he would keep the passengers waiting outside until the exit doors were firmly closed, made a big show of scrutinising every paper ticket and yes, calling people back in an unpleasant tone when he wasn't satisfied that they weren't fare dodgers, and being generally unpleasant, especially nasty to a lady with a walking stick who obviously struggled with getting her pass out of her bag whilst remaining balanced and upright. As she walked down the bus he was muttering to himself "In your own fcuking time love" and doing more of the pathetic huffing and puffing. He's a nasty piece of work and his nickname is well deserved - either he enjoys being that way or he's got some other mental issue whereby he doesn't realise he's acting like a cunt. In either case he shouldn't be working in a public facing role. Sack Him.
  2. Bring it on.
  3. Was he dressed as a clown?

Ahh just > the thought of it is making me feel awkward. Why worry what a complete stranger thinks of you? As for a tip, it's earned not guaranteed. If the driver doesn't deserve it then don't give it. I've never understood why people feel obliged to give drivers tips and it really posses me off when black cabbies moan about customers not tipping. My dad is a black cab driver and I get sick of him and his mates moaning about 'mean' customers not tipping. In his defence though he's generally very unlikely to refuse a fare in an direction within the rules and has on many occasion taken people for free when they have really needed it. They're not all bastards.

  11. I've got a mild hangover today. A combination of this and my iPhone means i'M Not being very productive at work. After a month off the jesus juice I've thrown myself off the wagon and onto the dusty booze-stained road. I could do with a pint right now. Can reccommend both the Guinness and the Stella in the newly tarted up The Castle. Lingering paint fumes are not an amazing accompaniment but are not too intrusive either. Word.

BBW, you forgot the 'poverty and knife-crime' chipolata. A perennial Nunhead favourite.
  18. Didn't know he was local. I wonder if he'll give me a lift to Bestival this year? Also, any chance of a free programme? I thought charging ?5 for them was a pisstake at least, after the not so cheap ticket price and the rain. Can't you do anything about the rain, rob?

BORE OFF yourself, bloody lunatic. I think that in your blind rage you've somehow got me confused with another poster on the 'off topic' thing. Perhaps your bloodlust for super parking has sent you slighly crazy. Anyway ,Not sure what my occupation has to do with anything but my job is 'Street Clown' and I mainly work in and around the ED area. If it's such a 'hassle hassle' for you to walk your offspring a few yards across the Tarmac then why not get your groceries delivered? Ding Ding!

Having children does not entitle you to 'super parking' in the same way that my pedal cycle does not automatically exclude me from the pavement. Look at me, I'm a cyclist! Ding ding! Out of my way, lowly pedestrian! Watch me zoom past!
  24. I'm part of the Petanque clique (actually a claque) and the pavements are for cyclists as well you daft bint clique.
  25. Ugh. La Roux - Most overrated band of 2009 AND from edgy Herne Hill in South London. And I agree that dubstep is not going to disappear anywhere soon.
