  1. *Waves white flag, looks forward to a good smoke*
  2. Oh! thanks ladies. You're very kind. So many ravishing beauties my head didn't know which way to turn.
  3. Oh well, at least you admit you have a genuine mental health problem and for that you have my sympathy. Truce?
  4. No idea but an aquaintance of mine once lived there and if memory serves me well it has got a sort of mini-church type structure in the garden. It's owned or was owned by the same guy who owns/owned the property in Upland Road that has the petrol pumps outside. Oops! that could have been another question.
  5. Oh! you poor man Keef, you have my sincerest sympathy, having to go shopping with one woman is bad enough but two, and with a hangover. Urg! Wedding suit is it?
  6. Hmmm. can't say I'm for or against this and I don't want to sound like I'm sitting on a fence, I just think the location could be a little bit better. Many years ago I lost a couple of friends to heroin and it's not nice. Another friend has been in recovery for 25 years. Also, I'm totally against Methadone treatment. It's just swapping one addiction for another.
  7. Agree entirely with Asset and Alan. Stay right where you are.
  8. Dear Mr Almurray, if you're up for suggestions on ale front then may I suggest Timothy Taylor's Landord? Other than that, you run a great boozer.
  9. Great party Mark, well done for organising everything.(tu) For my sins I am working today. I am also nursing the mother of all hangovers. Met some lovely people who I hadn't met before and others who I already have. Ahem! Is just me but there seemed to be an extraordinary amount of lovely looking ladies at the do last night, some of whom I flirted with in the most appallingly salacious manner and some that I unfortunately didn't get around to, luckily for them. I really am turning into a terrible old tart on my old age. Roll on the next drinks.:))
  10. A bunch of Wankers
  11. No me neither.:(
  12. You can play amongst yourselves if you really must but it's a party and there's drinking to be done.
  13. I hate to say it Ladygooner but yes, you've had a good start to the season and Adebayor's second goal against....chokes. Ahem! No, I can't go on. Whaaaaa! Sorry, but I've been trying to delete it from the memory banks and now you've gone and brought it all back. *Wails like a baby. Mwaaaaa!*:'(
  14. Advertising Louisa, advertising. BTW, that offer of a G & T is still up for grabs if you're going to the Forum bash tonight.
  15. Yes, you're quite correct the EDT is sadly lacking on the ale front. Could certainly do with a few guest bitters. On the other hand they do do a fine pint of Guinness in there.
  16. If something was going to be done about this formerly glorious building it should have been done at least 20 years ago. Unfortunately it looks completely beyond repair and should be demolished and replaced with something similar in style, like the facsimile beyond it.
  17. I'm a titled person you know. The Right Honourable Sir Rossis of the Liver.
  18. I wasn't going to take the bait (no pun intended) of this idiot's further wind up posts but this will be the last. Who is this nutter Allfornun? I get a lunchtime sandwich from Waitrose and he thinks I'm eating "the rest of Europe's equivalent of catfood." I think we know who the weirdo is here. Here's some information for you. You need therapy and if anyone needs to get a life it's you. End of.
  19. Agreed and Benayoun too.
  20. Well, you've certainly bought quality at Liverpool this season Keef, Torres and Voronin are looking very good already.
  21. Fenn Street Gang, that's going back a bit. I loved that. Err..what else, anyone remember Magpie? Sort of ITV's version of Blue Peter. Had a great theme tune anyway. "One for sorrow, two for joy, three for a girl and four for a boy etc."

It was a good work out for some of the fringe players and others coming back from injury. Darren Bent, I have to say is a long way from justifying his price tag. Afraid I don't rate him much. Jermaine Defoe on the other hand came on late in the second half and showed what quality he is by scoring two cracking goals, the first with practically his first touch. A match that I would say was a good morale booster for the weekend's game against Bolton, but I expect Keane and Berbatov to start upfront in that one.
  23. I'm working late tonight but will go straight after, should be there by 9pm.
  24. CPT is a proper pub Charlotte. I'd thoroughly recommend it to anyone even though I've never been a regular since I first stepped through it's portals more than 30 years ago.
