I find the "view" system unreliable Mick. For example how many views does it say on your screen for this thread?

Absolutely H. These Guys actually get a kick out of it in the same way as some Muggers actually enjoy inflicting violence long after the robbery has occurred. Its as if the situation has got to deterioriate to a new nadir b4 something is done and deterrents are just that.

Is it ok to lie about your salary in an interview?
Tony.London Suburbs replied to LegalEagle-ish's topic in The Lounge
Mixed emotions Legal. On the one hand, obviously, it will be beneficial to lie as it will give you much needed practice b4 you start playing in a higher Legal League where that, er, talent, will be compulsory B) On the other hand you could start a One-Person revolution and tell the truth, which, on balance, will be the correct thing to do>:D< -

Fabulous Match, absolutely superb for which both teams deserve the utmost praise. Highlight of the night wasn't any of the 8 goals though. It just HAS to be Drogba rolling back onto the pitch when injured off the pitch..sheer class from the boy...(tu)(td)

Is it ok to lie about your salary in an interview?
Tony.London Suburbs replied to LegalEagle-ish's topic in The Lounge
Tell them you are an altruist and just want to contribute positively to Society and the salary is not a consideration. When they offer you the job tell them you have been offerred another post at xxx salary and can they match it? -
Most days in the various Parks that I walk with my 4 West Highland Terriers I will speak to 10 different owners about their dogs and almost, unanimously, these owners love their Dogs for the wonderful characters they are and to think these Guys can do this to someones beloved pet sickens me. I found my mind constantly thinking of this while watching The Chelsea/Liverpool game and I'm so sad that certain members of our Society behave like this...it was never like this b4..never....

You will be surprised how many South Londoners from Grove Park/Hither Green/Ladywell walk their dogs in Footscray/Crayford/Oxleas Woods for this very reason. Alsations are wonderful dogs and I feel so sorry for the victim having these scum for owners. Like the Guy mentioned in The South London Press, who took his maimed, weak Pit-Bull and pushed it off the nearest tower block accompanied by his leering m8's and then put the remnants in the nearest trash can. I don't know who I despise the most ..the perpetrators or the Members of The General Public who, effectively, condone this behaviour by doing f+++ all about it....

You Tube: "Sunday Observer-East End Thug" is a belter if you like that kind of Arnie Iannucci humour which j'adore. EET knocks on the door of a female stranger and enquires which paper she reads..... "I TAKE the Observer" she replies... "I don't care which fec++ng paper you TAKE Darling, which one do you read??" He barges in and interrogates her of which parts of The Observer she has/has not read....hilarious....ends with him threatening to get "Nutters from Parkhurst to track her down with meat cleavers, while she is hiding with The Yettis up The Everest":))

Either MM or MP wrote about "Abrogating" your responsibilities. One or two other recent words describing internet terms that I was not familiar with. I invented one the other day which no-one could be assed to pick up on when I described a "Plexegon" of Primroses.

Great thing about going to an All-Boyz Secondary we could give each other proper nicknames like Spu+ky Rushforth and Bonehead Cronin and Jethro Knight etc..

I've thought that for quite a while, though Sunderland might give them a run. I do NOT want The Geordies to go down as their fans are fabulous and extremely loyal.....( apart from the one who broke ranks at Millwall in 1979 and punched my M8 in the stomach who didn't even support Millwall but I gave my ticket to as I was in Corfu. Laugh?...I nearly died..as I had never been touched in 1,000 games and he got a smack in his only appearance..:))

daizie Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > very funny tony and thank you for the compliment, > surely your not suggesting i deserve a beating Not at all!...I got the cane for gaining 23% in English Literature at Grammar School aged 11/12 at the end of year exam. My performance improved dratically the next year, which is how I come to know the "Hoist by your own petard" Hamlet text on another thread. I didn't fancy another 2 strokes, with a decent run-up that Bob Beamon would have been proud of...:))
