  1. Not all leasehold flats have management companies ,some just have an individual freeholder .

Actually being honest here I'm asking because I'm interested in selling a property that requires refurbishment - new kitchen ,new bathroom ,new flooring ,new windows ,replastered ceilings ,unfinished loft room ,repainting etc - but I couldn't see anything comparable on the market to give me an idea of price .

  10. Let us know outcome Foxy . Related to this - anyone know position re grease in food waste ? We are a v unhealthy household and I often scrape greasy left overs into food waste bin . What do ppl do with ,say, juices and fats from tray baked chicken thighs ? ( no I don't make chicken soup from left overs ) .

  13. Thanks both . Rich - my brother has photoshop and is trying to open the doc but is being asked for a password .Do you think the Land Registry whom provided the doc need to supply that ? Sigh . It's all a mystery to me .
  14. Can anyone help ? It's a copy of deeds from Land Reg .Is handwritten in immaculate style but too faint and blurry to read .
  15. Is that a secondary door at the side of your dwelling ? Or is it your main/front door ? I guess if it's down the side of the building it's a bit out of the main view .

  17. Central London is clogged with buses ,some rationalisation is necessary . The existing infrastructure of narrow roads can't support the volume of public transport needed to meet demand .

  19. I'm wondering how close an inspection will be carried out to determine whether a stickered brown bin has food waste mixed in with garden waste . Not sure what the objection to uncooked food waste added to garden waste would be .
