  1. Getting the most votes?
  2. Alternatively, just use the self serve machine at Sainsbury's to buy your food with your coins
  3. Congratulations to Raul Meireles for getting the PFA Fans Player of the season award, and Scott Parker the Football Writers' award (and of course Bale last w/e the PFA Players award). But I do wonder with so much still at stake this time of season why these awards cannot be voted for at end of season rather than months beforehand!
  4. Obviously no Ref likes to stop the game when a team is in the final third (unless you count Everton 3 on 1 against United at start of season when it was 10 seconds over the extra added minutes). However an additional 3 minutes is stretching it a bit... but again would this Ref ever blow the whistle if he were at the Nou Camp as Barca play 20 minutes at a time camped outside opposition box.
  5. Oh dear it seems some ppl still cannot tell the difference between being caught by camera swearing and using the camera to swear... that is the difference between Wayne Rooney and the rest.
  6. After years of Beckham, Rooney and Ronaldo taunting opposition fans, football statesman Rio Ferdinand threw his toys out of the pram yesterday - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13108781.stm As for Alex Ferguson commenting on Paul Scholes and Johnny Evans recent violent tackling (after the press conference tongue lashing he gave Jamie Carragher)... ermmmm... still silence
  7. Got a feeling Liverpool will beat Arsenal this afternoon. Kenny has done a good job so far and I hope he gets offered it full time. Obviously the squad is a bit weak and suffer the occasional set back but with some strengthening and this return to the old Liverpool style of positive football, next season could be a good one.
  8. Scholes tackle was possibly the worst this season. No idea what he was trying but it really was a disgrace.
  9. Well done City. Haha Adrian Chiles for suggesting United's fans will be home in time after final whistle to catch post match interviews.
  10. Pablo I pvt msg u but I have a spare, 35 quid
  11. As I suggested it was a family audience and I doubt Rooney would have said what he said on Saturday or at World Cup if camera had not been in close proximity. No wonder there are so many young thugs roaming the streets when they have role models like Rooney who it seems are beyond reproach.
  12. What is Wayne Rooney upto now.. first it was the World Cup, and now it is a Saturday lunchtime audience who have taken his foul mouthed abuse. Whilst other goal scorers wonder over to a pitchside camera and kiss the lens Rooney yet again shows he is nothing but a thug who believes he is above the law. Yet we still have people defending his actions. Unbelievable. Of course that football statesman Rio Ferdinand would disagree. Through his twitter account he asks that we give Wayne a break. Yeah right. How many more breaks does Rooney need? It was only a few weeks ago Rooney was sticking his elbow in the head of a youngster at Wigan. Rooney needs to be punished and punished hard. No excuses.
  13. Do it yourself
  14. Much better 2nd half and Aaron Ramsey was class. First half Wales were very nervous and gifted England a quick two goals. Arsenal look well equipped for years to come with Wilshere and Ramsey in central midfield if they let Fabregas go in summer.
  15. Sad to say it but England should win with something to spare.. Bale or no Bale (you'd swear Wales had lost Lionel Messi!!!) Having said all that England are quite capable of playing like a pub football team as they did for much of the World Cup... so perhaps, just maybe, Wales can beat England (which I think would be for the first time since about 1984) but it's going to be a tough task.

  17. I think in general football fans would be more interested in a player coming out and admitting he was indeed a diving little cheat than hearing something which in my mind is tomorrow's fish & chip paper Homophobia is not confined to just football, in the same way brawling and racism is not confined to just Millwall..
  18. Not sure he is a professional footballer, seems to be more he is the son ex-Liverpool player Glenn Hysen rather than this had rocked the 4th tier of Swedish football
  19. Sandperson as I've not seen it yet (and I don't think I want to either) how would you compare this with the Carragher and Rafael tackles from the Anfield match few weeks ago.. and to put it into real perspective the Aaron Ramsey last season?
  20. Not seen the incident but this would be a great opportunity for Ferguson to gain a bit of credibility rather than brushing it under carpet like he did with the Rooney challenge at Wigan. Not saying Evans is also a thug, as have not seen what happened, but United seem very quick judging others (as does Wenger tbf). Anyway hope this latest victim can recover as quickly as Nani.
  21. That second Chelsea goal today was pure class.. they looked a much stronger team with Anelka and Drogba. Torres simply does not look like the electric player he was at Liverpool. If anyone is going to stop United winning title then it's Chelsea as for me the wheels are falling off the Arsenal wagon.

  23. Emerson Crane Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Whoops, my bad, thats what I meant, the ban for > Jordan is outrageous. Joe Jordan should have been hung, drawn and quartered after what he did in 1977 in an act of cheating that would have made even Diego Maradona blush. I have no sympathy for Joe Jordan.
  24. I was looking at United's fixture list after the international break and its going to be very difficult. I think over 5 weeks they will play Chelsea 3 times, Arsenal & West Ham away plus City in semi final. Fortunately for them none of these blockbusters are within 4 days of each other but its to be asking a lot. Reminds me a little of the great Arsenal team few years back who had very similar run in when it proved a bit too much and I don't see it being any better for United. I make it a Chelsea v Barcelona final.
  25. Will Man United star Nani ever be same again after lengthy spell on sidelines?
