I believe it's 50 for a bulls eye - and besides it looks like it's on the rim, so a score of 25

Spurs new kits look horrendous

There was a similar post few months back - and for price and quality it seemed Britannia near CPT had a lot of fans. That's a bit far for me but I have occasionally got chips in the chippy opposite the Vale which were good.

I suppose if FHT is on the EDF radar then surely Hermit's Cave also qualifies.. as yes Jeremy very good venue which I think would go down very favourably.

It was early 05/06 season and my argument was the Liverpool midfield would be stronger with Gerrard on the right - Pleat kept saying Gerrard's best position was in the centre. Anyway, my point was proven with Rafa playing him on the right most of that season with Didi and Xabi central. I guess Pleat doesn't like to be put in his place.. but someone had to do the dirty work..

I've met David Pleat, he was so pissed that when I shielded my eyes from the sunshine he thought I was waving at him so he got up off his sun lounger to wave back. I also had a heated discussion with him over Steven Gerrard before he stormed off in a huff growling, "I'm not gonna argue with you". El Tel and Honest Harry are in there because of their performance back in August when moaning like pair of bitches about Capello taking England further back than when under McClaren - hilarious.

Great story Anna - I often think that is how the papers work when deciding how much our players are worth and what we're chasing for twice the money for half the player.

>> I just don't get the bad feeling from (some) pool supporters, >> especially, when compared to Macca, who did the same >> thing, but even more blatantly, a few of years earlier, but >> doesn't seem to get quite so much of that feeling towards him. Although many hold a grudge against Owen, I feel that Owen is still held in much higher regard on the Kop than McManaman. Macca didn't even have a song unless you count the embarrassing Muppet Show jingle - crikes United had more of a song for Macca, "F**k McManaman, F**k McAteer". To add fuel to the fire Macca came out on his retirement and said he'd be bringing up his son as an Evertonian! Having said that I've never seen a better site from the Kop than when McManaman would do his zig zag sprints from other end of pitch towards Kop, with what appeared the ball tied to his shoe laces. Him and Robbie Fowler bursting on the counter attack was unstoppable!

Favourite broadcast team would be Anchor - Des Lynam Match Commentator - Martin Tyler Match Analyst - Jimmy Armfield Studio Pundits - Terry Venables, Harry Redknapp, Steve McManaman

skidmarks - Read back on the thread to see if anyone has since said they can't make it since yesterday evening when the table was booked - then perhaps confirm you are taking their seat on this thread? Otherwise turn up and take a chance they can squeeze you in. I've been to 2 in the past and I'd say worth a chance. Can't make this month, but will try next time out. -
5 years ago Michael Owen walked out on Liverpool for ?8m rather than sign a new contract - consequently he sat on the bench for Real Madrid as his dream turned sour, then he spent 4 years injured at Newcastle, and also lost his England place under Capello. Is that punishment enough? Well Hull City are now in for him.. but just when you thought that was the final insult we now have the ultimate slap in the face.. Rory Delap and his long ball throwing mates are chasing his signature, yep Stoke City!!

Which road to buy on (Court lane or Woodwarde? )

All that is missing from that reception room is the stuffed head of a Lion hanging over the fireplace -
I think Collymore is a good match analyst - maybe not the greatest in the studio but he does a lot of co-commentary on Radio 5 which I think is a lot better than the twaddle of Waddle or Graham Taylor. McManaman was bit of a disgrace when he first turned up on telly, slouched in his chair wearing his 3 piece dandy suits.. but thankfully over time he's got over his ego and it fairly articulate rather than continually trying to score points like Jamie Redknapp on Sky. I'll probably not be signing up for ESPN if it's only football, and certainly not unless it's HD, what might swing it is if they start showing the NBA (and in widescreen / HD with a bit of luck) as that has been solely missed on Sky.

Oh yes I did hear about that, apparently he has been banished to another forum ... although have to say when I met him in person he seemed a nice guy. So just goes to show people can get carried away in the virtual world of the keyboard. -
The problem I found with Setanta and the reason I eventually cancelled is because the picture quality was sub standard. I did like their magazine shows. They have some decent analysts on board like Collymore, McManaman and Graham Poll ... but they also had morons like Tim Sherwood and Craig Burley continually moaning, in particular at Liverpool. It's a shame Sky never allowed them to transmit in High Definition on the Sky HD platform as they might have made a difference.

I was once stopped 3 times in 45 minutes - and they checked in my boot to see if I had a bomb whilst waving a machine gun at me to stop the car!

Really? Is that really a reflection? Well I felt obliged to double check this and lo and behold this thread has achieved it's viewing figures over 5 days whilst the other 3 threads you mention have each taken over 830 days. Big difference.

Bad news for the Lions, "South Africa make one change for the second Test against the Lions with flanker Schalk Burger returning from injury in place of Heinrich Brussow"

Perhaps dulwichmum has been recharging her batteries at the exclusive Maudsley resort -
Great, now we have low flying planes over east dulwich at midnight..

I understand that a man by the name of Larry Lamb, with thick curly white hair - has a grudge against the Fox family and maybe the man on the rampage possibly trying to settle some old family scores. Mr Lamb originates from the Rye Lane and can also be recognised by a very distinctive smell.

Isn't Court Lane a more prestigious road? I'd say ask the Estate Agents nearby, 'Spencer Kennedy', on their opinion as they should know it better than anyone.
