  1. Ok but that resolve extra doesn?t seem to have anything in it that will re-hydrate you and restore your electrolyte balance.
  2. Words spoken by someone who has obviously never tried to drive to Croydon on a Saturday morning when it becomes the furthest possible place from East Dulwich.
  3. Ladies and gentlemen I refer you to Mr Godwin: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_Law
  4. Yeah silly isn?t it. Just because you wear a suit to work doesn?t mean you are a professional. Being a professional means having achieved the requisite knowledge and qualifications and passed the reviews in order to become listed with and qualified by a professional body.
  5. All my grandparents lived well into their 90?s and my dad is currently pushing 80 with absolutely no sign of slowing down so I think the benchmark should be at least 4 score and ten. I will therefore refrain from thinking of myself as middle aged until I am at least 45 and/or I have children who are old enough to be embarrassed of me.
  6. When does middle age actually start?

But that?s just me I have to be taken with a pinch of salt because I have a bad attitude and an inherent mistrust of anything mainstream. I blame my teachers, they probably didn?t breastfeed me or summat.
  8. I know I said I was in but unfortunately I can?t make it now. I?ve got my in-laws visiting for the next 2 days.
  9. This is great innit? We have a choice between a racist snob and a power crazed communist who now apparently also has a drinking problem.

I have often thought that some of the scenes from that look like ED.
  11. I have tried the re-hydration solution we were shown as kids as an emergency treatment in case we were stranded somewhere and were struck down with diarrhea or food poisoning. (Why they taught us this stuff I have no idea) It is a spoonful of salt and a spoonful of sugar in a pint of water. Anyway the old hungover brain has in the past gone through the thought process of. ?I?m horribly dehydrated, let me try that magic solution they showed us at school.? Problem is it tastes foul and makes me want to vomit which kinda defeats the object.

I was just taking the proverbial wee wee. Mines a JD please.
  14. I don?t know a Girls Aloud sex party sounds a bit too athletic for a cricketer. Will there be any cake?
  15. In SA we started school at 6 and a half. And then it was only from 8:30am to 1:30pm. High school finished a bit later at 2pm but at 12 on Fridays. And all anecdotal evidence points to us having received a very well-rounded, liberal education. Granted I didn?t enjoy it that much but I?m well smart I tell you.* I really don?t think it is fair or necessary for the kids to have to spend so much time at school or to start so young. Think of the children. School is after all the most unpleasant place for a kid to have to be. They all hate it and rightly so. Let?s be honest it is rubbish. You can?t talk out of turn, you have to tuck your shirt in, you only get to sing what and when they tell you and there is any number of other forms of unpleasant control to make life unpleasant for the little bundles of anarchy that we call children. Plus when do they get time to play sport if they are at school all day? No wonder they?re all podgy. * Any spelling or grammatical errors in the post are because I am dictating it to a clockwork office assistant that I invented this morning before breakfast and I still need to iron out some of the glitches. I can?t plug the iron in at the office though.
  16. Boom boom honest guv they just walked into it.

  20. Why is handball an Olympic sport? Oh and if you are leaving a place, let?s say a chiropractors consulting rooms, and you see someone you know sitting in the waiting room, you are just passing and not stopping so there is only time for a quick salutation, do you say hello or goodbye?
