  1. When you haven't heard of the artists/songs on the "What East Dulwich is listening to" thread. I'm obviously not the groover I thought I was
  2. Hi All, Mr Wee Quinnie has casually informed me that he has 8 days leave to take before the end of March. Has anyone got any good suggestions for a wee break which does not involve flying? (We would consider catching the ferry to Dublin, or going on the Eurostar). My thoughts so far: Dublin, Paris, Lille, Bruges, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Manchester, Durham Has anyone got any top tips? Or suggestions of places to not go to? Please give reasons etc., Thanks everyone. PS - Yes, and before you say it: I know, the end of March - WHY?? etc., etc...
  3. >:D
  4. Been meaning to ask you Kel, what does :p mean?
  5. Here's some of my very own homespun advice, which Mr Wee Quinnie has encorporated into a training course for the BBC: When your partner is slagging "someone" off, don't start sticking up for "someone". - Calculated to really annoy. Mr Wee Quinnie refers to this as "The Yeh Bitch Rule" Believe me, it makes married life so much more harmonious when The Yeh Bitch Rule is followed. I haven't got any other marital insights, in case you're wondering.
  6. Wow Mutley - that is an amazing clip - its making my laptop vibrate - its like I'm right there.
  7. Oh well at least you won't be plagued by Britters terrible zit problem!
  8. Dulwich Mum - I am getting worried about you - you seem to be hitting the sauce really hard at the moment - this is what happens when you spend January de-toxing. Hope you're not turning into Britney. *Exeunt pursued by bear.

  10. Just come across this interesting website - which asks you lots of multiple choice questions and then show you on a chart which candidate you are closest to. I'm nearest Hilary Clinton. What about you? www.electoralcompass.com
  11. On the rare occasions when you go out caning it, you remember to drink a pint of water when you get home....like a did last night/this morning.

  13. Dear DulwichMum, I hate to break this to you, but BOBFOC stands for.... Body Off Baywatch, Face Off Crimewatch! (Time for an Eve Lom facial!)
  14. embellina Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Cheese sandwiches with salt and vinegar crisps in > them > Ugg boots I quite like the sound of the sandwiches. Ugg boots are good for keeping your feet warm - but as a fashion thing...no. I esp hate them when the soles are really worn and they make the wearer look pigeon heeled.
  15. KalamityKel Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I didn't realise any of the above was "naff" ::s Kalamity, Giles B., has an array of knitwear which would embarrass Noel Edmonds. Also, he is a former Conservative MP. He is also founder of the teddy bear museum. Nuff said.
  16. Giles Brandreth really makes me laugh. (How embarrassing). I also really like Top of the Pops 2 - but it doesn't seem to be on anymore. Back in my meat/fish eating days - I really liked scampi and chips.
  17. are you smoking them....right now?
