Thats rich given your performance, like I said take a look at yourself. Maybe take a trip to Old Stratford and people might take you seriously, until then, run along.

A good performance from United last night, although the away goal doesn't mean very much, a win's a win. I thought we controlled the game well although Torres should have done better and there was a good shout for a penalty at the death. I think we could have the measure of them at OT but I wouldn't want to play Barca or Real like that.

Only 9 days to go for the Manchester Derby semi-final at Wembley on the 16th. I am going to this (thanks to lovely lassie who got tickets - you know who you are x). Just SO, SO excited, it's unbelievable.

Can't wait!

Anyone else going? Bluerevolution or sandperson perhaps?

I know exactly what you mean Emerson.

I was cock a hoop when our reject Nayim scored 'that goal' to beat Seaman from the half way lane for Zaragoza a few years back.

When I saw Adebayor was in the Madrid side I would have bet my mortgage on that bugger scoring.

It wasn't meant as advice or a dig for that matter.

Its something that really pisses me off with supporters at LFC and I'm sure United have the same problem. People (season ticket holders or not) who go to every game that got the team to the semi final or final often miss out on tickets because all of a sudden that match is very popular. Most clubs have introduced a loyalty system so that people can't just decide they want to go to that match. It's my opinion that its unfair that you can not go to any matches all season and then get a semi final or a final ticket, hence the comment about attending earlier matches.

Sorry Anna. You know what it's like on here sometimes.

Totally agree about the tickets. I'd love to go but it would be a bit 'fair weather' of me. I know there was also the debate on the other side of this, certainly at United, about the season ticket holders and the automatic cup ticket scheme which meant they had to buy the tickets whether they waned them or not. I think this has been revised now.

ooooh lovely...North or South? (Hope they weren't affected by the terrible earthquake).

Anyway, may the best team win. Should be a good game.

    • Hate people who let off loud fireworks.  We had neighbours two doors down who used to let off the extremely loud fireworks in their back garden.   This was usually, but not always, on the days around Guy Fawkes and New Year’s.  It was torture.  I felt as if I was in the middle of them and it seemed as if they were directly outside our windows. I often involuntarily screamed as they were so loud and startling.  The dog was petrified and I was worried they would crash into the house or garden. Thankfully they’ve moved and taken their firework obsession with them.  I know someone whose dog collapsed and died during a bout of neighbourly fireworks.  Many dogs and cats go missing during firework season due to trying to escape from them.
    • Hi, We are looking at a property on Croxted Road near the Turney Road across the Garden Centre). I wanted to get people's sense on: 1. Road and train-line noise (house is on side sandwiched between street and the rail line) 2. Secondary schooling - lots of good state primaries, but I don't think there is a catchment for a good secondary The proximity to Herne Hilla and Dulwich Villages is nice as are properties on that street, but bit concerned about the above especially given required mortgage levels we might not be able to do private secondary. Thanks
