Thats rich given your performance, like I said take a look at yourself. Maybe take a trip to Old Stratford and people might take you seriously, until then, run along.

A good performance from United last night, although the away goal doesn't mean very much, a win's a win. I thought we controlled the game well although Torres should have done better and there was a good shout for a penalty at the death. I think we could have the measure of them at OT but I wouldn't want to play Barca or Real like that.

Only 9 days to go for the Manchester Derby semi-final at Wembley on the 16th. I am going to this (thanks to lovely lassie who got tickets - you know who you are x). Just SO, SO excited, it's unbelievable.

Can't wait!

Anyone else going? Bluerevolution or sandperson perhaps?

I know exactly what you mean Emerson.

I was cock a hoop when our reject Nayim scored 'that goal' to beat Seaman from the half way lane for Zaragoza a few years back.

When I saw Adebayor was in the Madrid side I would have bet my mortgage on that bugger scoring.

It wasn't meant as advice or a dig for that matter.

Its something that really pisses me off with supporters at LFC and I'm sure United have the same problem. People (season ticket holders or not) who go to every game that got the team to the semi final or final often miss out on tickets because all of a sudden that match is very popular. Most clubs have introduced a loyalty system so that people can't just decide they want to go to that match. It's my opinion that its unfair that you can not go to any matches all season and then get a semi final or a final ticket, hence the comment about attending earlier matches.

Sorry Anna. You know what it's like on here sometimes.

Totally agree about the tickets. I'd love to go but it would be a bit 'fair weather' of me. I know there was also the debate on the other side of this, certainly at United, about the season ticket holders and the automatic cup ticket scheme which meant they had to buy the tickets whether they waned them or not. I think this has been revised now.

ooooh lovely...North or South? (Hope they weren't affected by the terrible earthquake).

Anyway, may the best team win. Should be a good game.

    • Actually far better than I anticipated.  My usual viewings from the kitchen are of the feeders that for whatever reason appear less visited.  But upstairs, and doing it for the whole hour we spotted many more species, and with the help of the bird song app saw wrens, and probably a black cap.  We caught a brief view of a small flock of long tailed tits, and were pleased to see far more gold finches than we expected, so numbers not as decimated, following sub freezing nights a few weeks ago, as thought. No sparrow hawks, probably only see one a decade, and expect that they are more interested in wood pigeons than sparrars.
    • So we have been through millions of years of evolution just to be abusive to people?  Irrespective of your beliefs, and I am certainly a non-believer, I wouldn't be abusive.  Just ignore or if you are that bothered argue back. I pass preachers all the time ranting in Peckham.  I generally chuckle to myself but in the past have been happy to debate with JWs when they call, although they usually leave fairly quickly as they don't agree with my views, including bullying me as nine year old with tales of the end of the world. Sadly Christian fundamentalism from the times of the crusades, conquistadors and now Trump's America has so much to answer for.
    • I agree. And nor should it be acceptable for someone to shove a camera in my face when I clearly tried to avoid it. Thank you 🙏
    • I am so sorry to hear about this. xx
