Just used Steve for our broken oven element. He was polite, flexible on days and times, prompt, friendly and reliable. He fixed our oven in no time and his charges were more than reasonable. I would definitely recommend him and will certainly use him again.

People say well priced, how much exactly for what was done. Major or minor repair?

Is there a standing visit no work charge?

A further recommendation for Steve from me. He came over very promptly, calling before he arrived, and even though it turned out there wasn't anything wrong with the appliance, he took the time to explain what he'd done and how the thing works. Can't fault the service and he's a lovely guy to boot.
So delighted to have a fully working washer dryer again thanks to Steve. He diagnosed the problem easily and then popped out to his van to get the part I needed, had it fitted, tested and machine back in position in about ten minutes. Steve has been my washing machine guy for years and years, simply brilliant - don't hesitate to call him!

I would also add my recommendation for Steve The Spin Doctor (07921777428).

Came on time, fixed the thermostats on our aging tumble dryer, for the agreed call out charge.

The Terrapin Household Will definitely be using his services again!

    • Another TSG van on blues and twos just shot down Underhill, passing my house at 15:30 hrs. Which suggests this residential street is now an accepted emergency route to the South Circular. Which it never used to be. And which I'm guessing reflects a change in road usage which is likely to have been influenced by other recent road changes locally. But I'm sure life is much quieter now in other roads, so lucky them. But their quietness shouldn't be seen, in my view, as being a universal benefit to the area.

    • I hate to be that guy but i don't think you'll get much joy calling 999 if your phone has been stolen.
    • Unless you are watching it 24x7 then its hard to qualify that its not being used. Unless you are a business overlooking it of course. Personally I am reassured we still have phone boxes as they provide a valuable emergency use. If you are mugged for you phone, you can call 999 from them, if your house or business is on fire and you run out without a phone you can dial 999 from them. Some people don't have a mobile so its potentially reassuring for them knowing they can call someone if they feel unwell whilst out.  Just because some people don't see value in an object, doesn't mean others don't.
