I have recently moved, and moved in with my Girlfriend in East Dulwich. Already we have already begun to argue.

This is not good! Normally we get along fine, but this issue is driving a wedge between our happy relationship. I need your help!

What do you call a person from East Dulwich?

Is it an East Dulwichian, an East Dulwichite, an East Dulwichonian, or even something else?

How about an "EDonian" or if you have moved on, an "Old EDonian". You might be able to refer to this on your cv and if you make an appropriate typo, could find yourself in line for a top job.

PS: I'm new to this but why do people reply to Brendan as Brenda, I've seen that on a couple of posts, is it a nickname/in joke/typo?

I?m still a bit confused about why people refer to it as such to be honest. Granted it is always in the same place you left it but in my experience so are most cupboards. However when I started working here everyone else referred to it as stationary so who am I to argue?

    • Ugly...maybe..does it bother me..NO! I think its somehow reassuring to see theres still phoneboxes around. East Dulwich may well be getrified but there may well be some elderly people who don't have mobiles and kids who may have lost theirs adults ditto etc etc. I'd rather keep it than lose it...just because i don't use it does'nt mean its not needed.  there are many eyesores in the modern world not all of them as potentially useful.
    • I strongly recommend Balayage salon in Lordship lane as everytime I visit, they make me feel very spicial with thier profisionalism and care.   I have been going there for the last 10 years maybe more, and will never exchange them for any other. They are profisional, welcoming and they also always have an offer. I feel like a new woman every time. X
