Asset, admit it, you are the thuggish dog fouler.

I think you're uptight about allowing people a say... when did I say I didn't care? Names on here are hardly accurate, otherwise you'd be an Asset and you're clearly not.

Don't take it all too seriously though, I'm just having a bit of fun with you.

I think the clique mentality of this forum always shines through with certain regulars trying to control the board. I was pilloried here once for asking if a shop was still trading because over a period of weeks I, and others, never found it open. Intolerence and bullying is never acceptable. Even on a forum.

Why was asking if a shop was open ( it was in fact closed during that period of time ) bullying ???? I think I appealed to you forumites to play nicely, during the time of my brushe with the rough side of this forum; akin to a dog rolling over when being beaten !

''Bites wearily'' . I do hope not.

I agree with dulwichdoll, there is a ganging up element, it's pretty obvious that there's some kind of power struggle going on. But then if it's all some people have in their lives, I'd also hate to see that taken away from them, who knows if they didn't have this, they might actually leave the house and do someone real harm.

There was a topic but now there is no topic other than the one they decide they want to talk about, i.e what's a worthwhile post (as dictated by them) and how much crap can we throw at someone in a misguided attempt at comedy... because it's all a joke apparently... except when the joke's on them.

The best one is that poster who quotes people's whole post back to them and then writes something "incomprehensible" at the bottom of it. Or the other poster who quotes the original post a line at a time, replying to each line in the style of some kind of free association exercise. I'm guessing the knack of grasping entire paragraphs of meaning has always eluded that one. Shame...

Ho hum what fun.

Why are you judging her ? Who are any of you to say she is not telling the truth ? Maybe its your imagination or lack of it that is getting carried away. Its clear for all to see who is on this forums panel/jury of truthfulness arbitrators.
My version would've been alot better and there would've been at least two cameo appearances. Poppy would be played by Diana Rigg from the Avengers. The thug would've been played by Ray Winston (his character from Scum). The Policeman played by John Thaw's Jack Regan who ends up shooting the thug (Winston) in the face. The dog, Mutley.

Horsebox it was why I was put on this earth, make no mistake!

And for the record... Dulwichdoll, get a grip my love, you are turning this entire fabrication into a media frenzy, it was a lovely tale and we all went along with it so where is the problem? I dont have one! (Although I do tend to prefer BBW's version of this)

Louisa.

    • Nadia did a great job tidying up my very very overgrown yard. (See the before and after photos). I live in New Zealand and my tenants said a neighbour has been complaining about the out of control ivy. Nadia was easy to contact so over WhatsApp, managed to liaise between me and my tenants. Her quote was reasonable for the amount of work that needed doing, and the end result is great! She sent photos throughout so I could track progress. Would highly recommend her to others.
    • My car was stolen a few months back from my driveway but I had a tracker and found it in a private car park in Lavender Hill close to the police station. I was lucky. The thieves hide it up against that eventuality. High spec cars are targeted I'm afraid. The way it was stolen required the thieves to wire in their own computer accessing a front light (which had had a metal sheet welded across which they prised off). They had searched for a tracker but not found it. They also had to cut away a steering wheel lock. They had to come well tooled up and briefed to do what they did. Beating them off is non trivial. As I said, them not finding my tracker was just lucky.
    • Been with The Gardens now for around 30 years and very rarely do I have a problem. I went in to collect a form and mentioned that my leg was hurting and hot- was seen immediately by the Practice nurse who then arranged an appointment on the Saturday with the Extra care service at TJ Centre where I saw a doctor, who then sent me off to Kings for further tests.. I recently booked a flu jab but appointment is in 2 weeks.
    • Have used Milk and More for years. When the price went up we cancelled a couple of pints but we still have 8 pints a week. If we are expecting family etc we buy from Sainsburys to top up. We kept on with M & M as if weather bad we could order extra stuff from them to save us a trip to Sainsburys Local. Also gives employment to our milkman.
