I think the club will be sold but I don't think we will escape a 10 point deduction. I think that deduction will be next season though. Anyone got any spare cash?
  2. what do you need recycling - not offering but my help pin down what you are looking for.
  3. Getting back to the original subject, I just had a look at what is on offer on Virgin There are hundreds of moved of seemingly all different 'variations' for ?5 or ?6 however.... you can also get a WHOLE nights viewing of certain channels for ?5. I am guessing these come up as 'additional feature' also. I never knew there was so much - I have teenage boys in the house - crikey!! ::o Not sure how anyone know what exactly was ordered
  4. Only race I ever bet on other than the Derby. Usually back about 5 or so horses and last year cam 1st, 3rd and 4th!
  5. It was certainly open last week but i did notice is was closed today (as I was running my circuit of the park)

I would be surprised if no other passengers had a mobile phone in this day and age.... unless it was a long time ago when bricks were fashonable.

I am going to have to go and find it now! Near Puddletown in Dorset is Piddlehinton and Piddletrenthide (just this side of Dorcester)
  9. Interestingly the police were there early this morning hen I walked passed. Apparently they are never there on a Monday morning! Even as a tory voter I think this is underhand. They of course fail to mention that she was there over Christmas (visiting family obviously). I have to also say I have seen the police regularly on a Friday (though mostly not).
  10. I noticed, where the hoarding were above the main windows are etched windows with 'The Galleon Wine Company Ltd' (or something similar). I am guessing its part of its previous life - Any ideas - an old off licence perhaps?
  11. The upcoming problem with Pompey (from what I was reading last week) is that they have 12 players out of contract at the end of the season
  12. Sausage pie 500g sausagemeat, onion, garlic, minced carrot, minced sweet peppers, tin tomatoes, stock, tomato puree and big splash of Worchester sauce and season to taste. Cook together, thicken and put in a dish. Top with mashed potatoes and pop in oven (can add grated cheese if you like). Family Sunday Dinner - done!
  13. Did some wicked cheese on toast for the kids at lunchtime. Homemade seeded bread (with hemp seeds extra), bit of heinz tomato ketchup and plain old medium cheddar then grilled. Beautifully crispy round the edge and goegeously soft in the middle Spag bol for tea!

He was (allegedly) told that if he had a good England B game then he would be in the team for sure. He scored a hatrick in the game but was then shunned. He only got 8 caps Fantastic player and one of the top goal scorers in the premiership still bearing in mind he was a midfielder. He was the first midfielder to reach 101 goals. I think he may still be the most prolific midfielder bar Lampard who I think has just pipped him

No - they could get sued by people who slip over on the bit that had been poorly gritted not by the council.
  16. Interestingly our picture is better now too. i had better cancel the engineer or they will charge me!
  17. That means I cannot burn that lovely smelling house coal. It is the smell of a winters evening!
  18. In nunhead cemetery - perhaps not really appropriate for there!!
  19. We are having problems with our TV signal from Virgin - keeps breaking up (sound as well. Never really been a problem before. I called tech support but cannot get an engineer until Friday due to problems in the area with broadband. I am not having to much of a problem with broadband other than it is a little slower than it should be
  20. paid for a year of deliveries up front which included my christmas one. Works out at about ?2 per delivery if I do not use it for 3 weeks of the year (when we are away) Oh and only SOME of their items are price matched. Interestingly this week I did a second shopping list on tesco and it was pretty similar. Sometimes however Ocado has been up to ?8 more expensive (on a ?120 shop)
  21. Damn it to hell and back, damn blast and double damn! Just got a txt from Ocado saying our delivery today ain't coming today! Rearranged for tomorrow evening instead!
  22. Ere its not just you ED types that are middle class - I was wondering if our Ocado delivery would get to us in Nunhead this evening!
  23. Phew... coming back to 2-2 with 10 men against Swansea who apparently are on a roll!

I did welcome himwhen he came to Saints even though he had come from the skates but turned against him as soon as he started openly critising the players in public (much the same as he is doing now). I still think is abject disinterest in entering the transfer market (when money was available) was a hint at his agenda at being at saints. He may have skill at rallying players around him but he is a s**t coach. Even if you go down this season we may not even get a chance to play you!
