  1. I can't see how any "feasibility study" can possibly take place in the near future as there is too much planned much further down the line which would need to be taken in to consideration - to say again - the new schools AND M&S. It would be a pointless exercise and a complete waste if resource. That's not to say residents shouldn't be looking to find a happy solution for all concerned. It just seems to me this is escalating without much serious thought right now.
  2. I'm getting incredibly confused with what is happening with all of this... There's a petition for a barrier? There's a petition for no barrier? There is or isn't significant official information available to back up any claims that something does or does not need to be done? Not everyone is being consulted? Or, at least, not everyone any traffic calming method would effect is in the know. Random (by random I mean unofficial out of the blue) visits from neighbours presenting various letters contradicting each other on "proposals", some without actually even knowing the history of the area (for example, yes the road has been blocked in the past for essential repairs for a significant amount of time - which may or may not be helpful in gauging potential issues ANY kind of traffic calming might create), some claiming to know too much but are recently new to the area... The impending arrivals of new schools, M&S etc are or are not being taken into consideration? Local councillors are for AND against (and back track regularly on comments they make)? How does this effect support for residents? Where have these ideas generated from? Seems to me there's a lot of movement happening in both directions instigated small groups and everything is getting in a muddle!
  3. I don't like being asked if I'm single... there are other ways of addressing the burning Q. Asking such a Q just makes me think "oh dear here we go". Think I'd prefer the get right in there approach - if you wanna ask someone out just do it. Doesn't matter whether they've single or not surely!
  4. Didn't fink there was a "choice"
  5. You might want to hold off on asking whether the lady you are so busy ogling is single or not... I'd start with a simple polite (not pervy) hello and then see where it goes!
  6. hmmmm nope not me :p Can't imagine why anyone would want to do any of those things you mentioned ;-)
  7. Define "using"?
  8. Died would have been a better term than "killed". It was an accident not deliberate murder afterall. Yes sad indeed. Thoughts to the family.
  9. Blimey... is it a full moon? moan bitch moan bitch moan bitch moan bitch moan *points at guilty people*
  10. I'd say it was more of a moot... both sides choosing to be difficult... *sighs*
  11. blimey, someone resurrect the grump old man/men rubbish?
  12. I don't generally have an issue with late delivery - tis usually the opposite when it arrives MUCH sooner than expected. Have you contacted Amazon to see what they say? From my experience their customer service can be a little bit hit or miss where there either think you're complaining when you're just asking a question or really don't grasp what you're saying at all but the outcome is usually productive... :-)

  17. Assuming it's a recording you're after... for a bit of a twist check out the piano guys - some of their arrangements are fab :-)
