Apparently, according to an undated letter that came through the door yesterday there had been plenty of door knocking and local contact. Interesting that no one had knocked on our door (there is generally always someone home) or that the neighbourhood grapevine hadn't picked any of this up. I'm not sure my views on this idea although agree something does need to be considered. Remembering the difference some time ago having the ends of Melbourne Grove (junction E.Dulwich Grove) closed off for extensive road works (sewers?) made... It's a difficult stretch of "rat run" as blocking any section only pushes the problem elsewhere.
