Tit for tat on something like this - provoking a dangerous response resulting in likely harm to innocent people caught in the middle - sends out all the wrong kind of messages IMO

I agree slightly with this... a while back, with an influx of newer (now older) posters started to contribute in a rather dominating way, many of whom have given up the EDF addiction, the flavour of the EDF changed a little - even forum meets changed from incredibly friendly and relaxed to something which resembled of competition (in my experience and not referring to any who still participate on here now) of who was more popular/loudest/wildest. I know change is something people tend not to like but in this instance I personally felt it a struggle to engage further on the forum and lost interest. I am glad some "normality" has returned now although I'm still lost on much of the conversation - I think I'm just stupid :-))

I had been monitoring one of our works real Christmas trees - there was much debate on the Christmas Decoration decorating committee on the whole real/artificial benefits/drawbacks - leading up to Christmas wondering how long it was going to last... it survived the warm dark environment after closing the doors late on the 23rd Dec, was still going strong on the 30th Dec although looking fragile but sadly today after a gentle poke all the baubles (heavily decorated) simply fell off! I wasn't particularly keen on having a real one but grew to be quite attached it in the end. There is now quite a significant trail through the building and outside of the remains. I feel slightly down and empty now :-( How long will I feel like this? :-(

Perhaps I should be more clearer on my inquiry... to which service is meant by appalling? The bus company as a whole or the route service?

Are you meaning the screen or the computer itself? Sounds to me more of a screen issue than anything to do with bits inside your machine. Have you checked that the power cable is secure and not wobbly? Do you hear a buzz sound when you have a fiddle? If the connection is fine you could try seeing if the cable is at fault by swapping, if you have another, the lead.

Woooohoooo last one... this being nice to people malarky is getting tedious! ;-)

does this happen even after you've read all outstanding PMs? I found in the past, for some reason, if I was receiving a large number of PMs in a row and I hadn't gotten round to reading them I wouldn't receive other notifications until I'd read them all and then it would go back to normal. Also you might want to try logging out of ALL places you use the forum (using mobile access one always forgets to close the browser properly!) and then log in again. Just a couple of thoughts :)

You could try looking in the whats on section... there is already something running

Otta Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Book People do some great bargains. The Book People are indeed very cheap - whole collections for peanuts. A fab selection of books for younger readers although not much for older kids (but then there's sooo many other places for older age group) AND surprisingly (compared to other retailers etc) amazing customer service. It's easy to get replacements on damaged goods/wrong items sent and even returning because you no longer want an item is fairly easy.

Works for us... *shrugs* perhaps we keep a closer eye on the biters/our feline chums don't get them too bad in the first place/we treat before it becomes an issue. Certainly not saying anything negative about other pet owners!
-
That's not true at all. I think it likely a ploy to get you to spend more on other products.
-
Frontline Spot on works fine for our feline chums. Treatment on the back of the neck, much less stressful than spray or tablets/drops on food. Once treated your cat shouldn't be experiencing the return of fleas so quickly. You'll have to consider treating your house/clothes/bags/under beds especially if you have carpet. There's various things you can try for the house.

It's a fair point admin. It's a network reception in the area issue much like all the other similar threads which pop up from time to time - power cuts, big holes in the road blocking traffic etc... you know the likes :) *shrugs*
-
Is this a personal issue between you both? I don't really understand why you're chosing to be unpleasant to KK for simply asking what the purpose/aim of this thread is/was. You accuse KK of being a troll, taking pot shots and all that... what are you doing in return? :s To return to the point in question - when you spoke to Foxtons, other than advise ED Foxtons would get in touch what else did they say? Surely there was more conversation? Have you now taken it upon yourself to visit the ED branch to follow this up yourself? Would be interesting to know whether making a direct visit would actually get a positive result or whether, like most companies, they'd just fob you off with some blame pushing (blaming head office or a marketing dept).
