No down points that I know of. A typical ED road, fairly quiet, parking can be difficult, handy for shops/station.

I know where it is - it's gone to a Torquay supporter (one of the select number). If I can ever got hold of it again I'll take a copy

I once had a photo of DH paying Torquay in, if I remember, 1927. tried both clubs to see if they were interested, but couldn't find anyone.

What's gone wrong with this place? I can understand the queues before Christmas, but now too? I've had to go three times in the last few days and each time there's been a very long queue. Yesterday afternoon it was out of the shop and past the bus stop. In the rain too. I've seen several instances of elderly and disabled people put to some difficulty by this. Yesterday there were only two counters open (in spite of another member of staff sitting there doing other jobs, I presume.) This meant that when anyone came in for travel money or business that counter was out and when the parcels collection driver came, the only other counter shut down so the staff could attend to him. So for one period there was no-one to service "ordinary" members of the public. So there we stood, waiting, in the rain. We do pay for usage.

People with back packs who seem to forget the pack exists and turn round and hit you with it, especially on buses where it hits your face.

Why do I go into this shop if it's just going to make me so enraged you might ask? Never ever again Today was lured in again by the "Everything on the rails half price" notice. EXCEPT, of course, the item I wanted. "Oh, no that's new. It's not in the sale" Well, fair enough, they want to make a decent profit from new goods. But why was it on the rails then? Just to annoy me and anyone else who might have fancied it?

On reflection, Nigello I've had people try and punch me, had a chair thrown at me, stopped a man urinating in a corner, stopped a woman taking all her clothes off, broken up fights, ejected drunks. Just noticed Sainsburys in New Cross still has recycling, if anyone goes that way. And that Sainsburys is quieter than DK Hill and has some of the cheapest petrol around. And it's on the way to Deptford Market. What more could you want.

There are far fewer trained staff than there used to be, and I suspect many staff are nervous about imposing any kind of authority. It is time consuming and needs some confidence and it's so much easier to turn a blind eye.

If you use bleach, it will kill any small thing underneath, such as worms. I tried it once and felt an absolute monster as they came wriggling and writhing to the surface on the surrounding areas

Except my choice, of course, which was a book of Christmas carols and "Christmas items aren't included in the sale" Nowhere did it say this, of course. That's it.Life's too short to cope with random retail methods. Sorry, one regular customer fewer.
