  1. Bad Manners - Torquay 400 Club - 1980-ish? - first ever 'night out with the girls'

Why the Caribbean? Can I substitute Goa? Edited for lousy spelling.
  3. Work is the pain - the money it earns buys the pleasure...........
  4. Liquorice is showing the footie (advertised outside). I think that there is definitely a niche market for those who still want an evening out WITHOUT watching the games!

  6. Hi Rosie Just wanted to add my support - it is hard to come to terms with and my thoughts are with you.
  7. Thanks giggirl - I'll allow plenty of time and wear a nice padded jacket!
  8. I've bought the tickets just need to collect them.
  9. Has anyone been to this in the past who could give me an idea of how long the queue to collect tickets might be? I am booked for 5.30 tomorrow so just wonder if I need to allow just an hour or whether the queues are horrendous. Cheers
  10. I love swifts however gaps in your roofing can lead to your attic being inhabited by less welcome visitors such as squirrels.
  11. Depo jab - 1 injection every 3 months then no periods. Ask your nurse/doctor.
  12. Also voted at Darrell road with no queues at all.

Actually Narnia I am a vegetarian too (actually a Pescatarian but I only seldom eat fish - usually when abroad when the vegetarian choice is limited),but that still means that I eat a varied and very interesting diet. I just love cooking and eating so much I just feel that someone who doesn't like food is missing out. I feel the same about people who don't like music - that it is sad that they can't take pleasure from something that is intrisically so pleasurable.
  14. Eating isn't my favourite thing to do. That's so sad - I can't think of many things I like to do more - and luckily for me my metabolism lets me do it (Theo's classes help too!) I did think your diet looked a bit repetitive - now I understand why.
  15. 800-1000 calories sounds very low to me - do you think that your body was already in starvation mode which is why you couldn't lose weight when you were eating at that rate, then when you started to eat more you kick started your metabolic system into play again so you lost weight because your body was metabolising food at this new faster rate. Just one thought.
  16. Was it really only demolished in 2001? Is this where the block of flats is now?
  17. I like the sound of the Green Man but feel that it might have to be modernised and santitised to the Green Person, or the Green Non-Gendered Human Being to be permissable.
  18. Talcy Malcy. Made a big difference to my yuut.
  19. oh no - far too frightening for my mother
  20. Marriage is for the avoidance of inheritance tax.
  21. Have been with Explore and others several times (although not trekking) and had great fun. I guess I have been lucky with no stomach upsets and would recommend starting the day with an egg and finishing with a neat spirit! Have fun whatever you do.

SteveT Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > It is the desire of women to get pregnant and > breed is the greatest problem, if that was subdued > we would not be over populated, because all a man > wants to the most part is sex. WRONG. It is the desire of the majority of women to get pregnant and breed. I know many who are very happy to leave that to others thank you very much!
  23. The Sevendials restaurant is very nice - 5 mintues walk behind the railway station. Does an excellent set price lunch menu. Bit of a way from the centre of Brighton but could probably park around there (don't know as always take the train so we can enjoy the wine at the restaurant)
  24. "vital statistics so you come to resemble an apple rather than an hourglass" Thats not middle age that's fate worse than death.
  25. I guess my aunt with her 26 inch waist at the age of 73 is still relatively young then! Lets hope I can follow in her footsteps.
