Nowhere is London is completely safe, but this doesn't sound too high risk. I would suggest that you don't carry money or a phone, stay aware of your surroundings and don't listen to music. -

I think muzzled when off the leash is fair enough. Of course the vast majority of dogs don't need to be muzzled, but it's impossible to distinguish which dogs pose a threat.

What a useful thread. So far I've learned that: B&J ice cream is muck because it contains stabilisers and emulsifiers. Italian Gelato is much better, even though it usually also contains these ingredients. Crystal Palace is ahead of East Dulwich because they've had an ice cream shop open in the last few weeks, even though ED has had an ice cream shop (Scooped) for a couple of years.

They probably use oil in the cookie dough. I guess it would end up pretty solid if it was made with butter. maxxi, I can't see it happening, B&J are more Leiciester Square than Lordship Lane.

Yeah, I don't usually believe in wins-by-proxy. But the nature of Mitchell's loss and Burns' win were pretty good indicators of the level the fighters were at.

I think decking makes sense if your back door is raised - it gives you a useful outdoor "room" without having to walk down steps. But seems a little silly in a small back yard.

Its a shame that agents play the game of overpricing things to win the custom. You're not the only person who has been messed around like this. If viewers all think it needs a complete refurb, then you probably need to subtract the cost of this from the price of a typical 4 bed house, and then knock off a bit more to sweeten the deal. Hopefully you've got it right now, and you'll find a buyer soon.

Gidget's idea sounds like a great way to end up with some unique furniture. But how much does re-upholstery cost? Sounds expensive.

I know I'm desperate out of touch with what qualifies as "stylish"... but M&S furniture is pretty good quality, and they have a few armchairs between ?300 and ?500.
