Went to Coriander on Saturday, on the back of recommendations from here... seriously people, do you have no taste buds? Lamb Dupiaza - bland, tasteless Chicken Tikka Massala - very sweet, bordering on sickly bhindi bhaji - incredibly salty I know some people are bound to say that we should have gone for the specials, rather than bog-standard curries. But we were trying to keep the cost down... and besides, if they can't even get the basic dishes right, I'm not inclined to try anything more adventurous. On the plus side, the starters were OK, and at least the curries were not overly greasy (like in Surma, for instance). And it was thankfully devoid of damp, cracked plaster and peeling wallpaper (like, oh, perhaps in Surma).
