That's a huge generalisation LondonMix. Yes there was a wave of Polish builders 10-15 years ago who seemed very hard working and earned a good reputation, but I'm not convinced it still holds true. There are good ones and bad ones (i.e. just like every other nationality).

I don't actively dislike Bromley... from certain angles you can even convince yourself it's nice-ish... but there's just nothing of interest there, it's just generic, bland middle England. You could be anywhere.

The UK is dependent on migrant workers.. from highly skilled knowledge based industries, down to the daily services we all depend on. Surely leaving the EU will just add layers of bureaucracy to the process of hiring workers, with a similar net result. Doesn't seem ideal to me. Also for illegal immigrants working cash-in-hand... leaving the EU won't make any difference will it?

I'm in two minds about this one. While I'd be quite happy to take a punch and a bit of verbal from Clarkson in exchange for 100K, it doesn't seem like justice has been done.

Yeah used to be alright music-wise with a couple of rehearsal studios, instrument shops, a couple of venues, and some interesting record shops... especially "Shake Some Action" - a decrepit indie/punk record shop which had in-store gigs. But it was still bloody grim. There's major redevelopment going on... not sure whether a soulless "Westfield" centre and loads of new-build apartments will be that much of an improvement, but they can't really make it much worse...

He arguably had good intentions during the first/second seasons... by the fourth season they had disappeared and he was consumed with greed, and it was pretty hard to see any shred of goodness within him. Yep, that Dead Doll place always looked dead. The concept was seriously out of step with the area. Hope they manage to turn it around.
