And what does MeatLiquor have to say about that? Fries in the US are of varying sizes. So it depends on how Yankee like you want to be?
-
They are still the same thing when served with hamburgers context. Fries is the American terminology, often adapted by UK food retailers. Wedges should be described as wedges.

I would say that ethical would be farmers/producers that let their animals go outside at least part of the day. Some pigs are kept in cages all their sad lives.

From what I have read, the Co-op chicken isn't free range - allowed to roam outside - but the birds are in a barn and aren't caged. I guess that is considered to be ethical but it isn't my idea of a good life for a bird.

Nuns Head pub also does Burger Monday nights and include chips.

Hache, oh no. Their buns are terrible.

Do they mince it in front of you?

I have a friend who had worked for a number of years in another field and then did a psychology degree. I asked her if she was going to practice as a psychologist and her reply to me was along the lines of "I can't think of anything more draining than listening to other people's problems all day"; the sad thing was she was a fantastic listener and very empathetic. She ended up going back into the same profession she had been in. Good luck with your search.

The Minkey Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I heart Peckham Morrisons ;-) The Camberwell Morrison's bakery section is rather good. They had 4 large lovely square fruited scones (American style) made with clotted cream for only 80 pence. They were very soft and fresh. Also individual rhubarb pies with lattice tops for 59 pence or two for a ?1 I think it was. Very tasty.

Yes, and it got worse when Camberwell Grove became resident's parking in the daytime. Surprised Grove Park didn't go the same way.

I thought you had to own it and live in it for a certain amount of time before applying to buy the freehold, unless those rules have changed. Was the case when I wanted to buy freehold of my flat over ten years ago.

Broken fence on Hinckley/ Gowlett Rd
Gidget replied to grancabrona's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Was the gate replaced or just repaired? Do you think vandals are destroying it? Put a note through the door? Could you hammer some hardboard over it? -
IF you don't live in the flat then you don't have the right to buy the freehold.

Dairy free first birthday cake recipe?
Gidget replied to patt1980's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Could just do a drizzle icing with sugar and juice, like lemon or orange, if making for example a carrot cake. Also if you make a carrot cake can use oil instead of margarine/butter. I saw a tasty looking dairy free carrot cake recipe on the BBC Good Food website when I googled dairy free cakes. It had wonderful reviews. -
Maybe you could leave a note on your dashboard explaining that you are a nurse etc. and that you need your car for work. Can you not get one of those Southwark Parking Badges that allow you to park anywhere in Southwark if you are providing medical services? I know doctors get them.

You can get hamsters and other small furries from rescue centres.

Do you already own the house?

I think Shorty is asking if anyone can drive him to his brother's funeral.
-
Or maybe they bought something there and then saw the exact same thing in Ikea? That would be a bit galling....

Deliveries, pick-up, gardeners, workmen, and disabled people. What a daft question. It used to be a car thoroughfare apparently, back in the olden days.

Tell us more Missyelliott. What happened with Bushells to make you say that. Why would Peddar want to sell a one bed as a two bed?
