  1. So it seems it should be made into two questions: 1a) Do you have a religion? yes/no 1b) If yes, which one: Religion of God A Religion of God B Religion of God C etc ai?
  2. Just to go back a bit, louisiana, what's the best i.e. non-leading way to ask that question in a questionnaire?
  3. Some top tips that I've picked up: 1) Enjoy the organising, it's shouldn't be that hard and can be good fun. 2) Bride magazines will give you some ideas but generally they're full of shit and people trying to sell you shit, at a marked-up wedding price. 3) Spreadsheets can be your friend; guest lists, RSVP, who's eating what, music you like etc 4) Pay suppliers in cash, they like that. 5) Some things won't be perfect, but you know that, so don't stress if they're not quite right 6) Have a great photographer, it'll help with the memories. And/or ask guests to take photos. 7) The two of you are in charge, don't let others run it/ruin it unless you want them to. 8) Make your wedding last a few days if you can, you get to see and chat to everyone. Doing abroad helps with that. 9) Just invite your friends and close family. You can't invite everyone to a wedding and everyone knows that. 10) Tell you best man/bridesmaid to pull you aside every couple of hours and say "take a step back, look at this, this is your day"
  4. Here's a link to a post from earlier this year http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,398714,398809#msg-398809 with a link to a photo, you can see Wembley in the distance.

It's monitored in a reactive way, hopefully that's well enough to allow most to enjoy the forum without interruption. > Is there a part-time job going? :) No jobs going at the moment I'm afraid, but I'm sure Admin will come knocking if he needs a hand.
  9. Whilst looking at the small print on travel insurance one actually has Hole in One cover included: Section 04 - Hole in One What is covered: If YOU achieve a hole in one WE will pay up to the amount shown in the schedule (?100) for YOU to buy a round of drinks in the golf club lounge/bar. https://www.thisistravelinsuranceonline.com/topnotchcover/documents/TNCSilverPolicyWording2010V4.pdf Which is nice.
  10. What Keef said
  11. Mick Mac Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Eh - that was the Administrator - he should know. Well, it was actually the person who set up the forum, so yes, he should know.
  12. When you say he outed himself, you mean he said something like "I am a troll, I am playing with you for my own amusement... I shall be writing an article about you". Seven pages later people are still discussing him/it, a good example of trolling in action methinks, and hats of to you jrussel, and there's me thinking you were an architect. ps it's 17,160 registered users now.
  13. To be honest I'm not really that concerned, I just thought it would have been polite to ask first. I have spoken to the guys at mydulwich and they said they were going to stop nicking the content from the forum, I'll send them a polite reminder...
  14. jrussel Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > The other issue is that of privacy, and as this is > a public forum, everything is public anyway so I > have no concerns in this regard. On that basis anything done in a public place can be used freely for any purpose? Which isn't true. And it's not a public forum, it's a private forum used by the public. It would also be polite to ask Admin if s/he's ok with you doing this, I notice the Terms of use of this forum say "If you want to reproduce anything on this website outside of eastdulwichforum.co.uk you must first get permission from the individual message poster or the management (who are very amicable by the way)". Have you done this?
  15. These might help http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/search.php?5,search=Subsidence,page=1,match_type=ALL,match_dates=365,match_forum=ALL (except the one about pelvic floor exercises)
  16. Hi Barry Thanks for all you've done, you really have made a difference to the local stations and the quality of your customer service can only be described as phenomenally brilliant. And thank you for using the forum in such as positive and useful way, it's been great having you on here and you will be sorely missed. Mark
  17. Give Davide a chance DJKillaQueen, he's come on the forum to help address the problem. If you're really that concerned about the licence being adhered to it maybe better to work with him not against him. 18. The fist time that rumour was mentioned on the forum was 22 September, 2006 http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?20,26,38#msg-38 almost 4 years ago. It's one of those rumours that just keeps appearing over and over, we'll just have to wait and see if it's true.
  19. No need to assume you wouldn't be allowed Keef, the offer's open to anyone who wants to help out, however some people have offered their services so I'll be contacting them today and hopefully we'll have someone helping out soon.
  20. Yes, thank you Keef, although it is recognised that moderators do have opinions and that can help steer the forum in the right direction, just as the current FRM has also done.
  21. Hi Are you able to help out in the Family Room areas of the forum? Unfortunately our wonderful Family Room Moderator is having to hand over the baton to someone else due to other commitments so we're looking for someone to fill their space. Moderating involves: Keeping the place tidy; moving non-family posting elsewhere on the forum, changing titles that have been posted in capitals, deleting repetitive commercial posts etc. Stepping into discussions if they have been reported by users Stepping into discussions if you believe they're getting out of hand or to remind people to be good and follow the forum rules. This is optional but allows you to steer the Family Room in the right direction. Helping the Administrator with the odd bit of general forum housekeeping. Generally keeping the Family Room the great place that it is. This is a purely voluntary position and is very relaxed ie you help when you can but it's the chance to help be a part of the East Dulwich Forum. If you're interested please send me a Private Message Thanks Mark ps and a big thank you to the departing Family Room Moderator, you really have helped the Family Room become what it is.
  22. I don't game, but this amused me...

Local papers also reported that local squirrels were addicted to crack, are there any official stats to back your statement up?
