New fixtures out 17th June - but of course we'll have to wait another week afterwards before the TV stations fook about with them and have us playing on a Monday night, Sunday lunchtime etc etc. Only prediction I'm making for next season is that Ancelotti will take the same path as Scolari, before the inevitable call is made to their spiritual son Gianfranco Zola.

Orange still owe me ?50 from when I stopped using their Broadband over 12 months ago.. they did send me a cheque but with all that technology behind them they still managed to spell my name wrong...hmmmmmm

Generally speaking I think religion, animal welfare, anit-abortionism, anti-capitalism etc is often just a vehicle for the savage mind to justify their anger and violence - if it wasn't for them hijacking these causes I think many of these extremists would still commit themselves to some other act that got them locked up behind bars. It's not purely the Bible's fault or any other sect that people are the way they are - there has been man made atrocities since the dawn of time. It's called bad genes. All these extremists do is undermine the cause of the legitimate practioners.

I've used Vodafone, Orange and O2 in East Dulwich - and Vodafone always gave a good signal. Not much difference between Orange and O2 signal wise. My only experience of Orange customer services was in regard their Internet package and it was very painful and frustrating.

We parked on a back street last week in Liverpool and whilst our wheel was being fixed, after some scally wags had punctured a tyre, there was one house whose bay window was completely decked out in FA Cup Final club shop flags & scarves. I suppose they'll now have a special DVD out to commerate their season's success.. featuring the semi-final penalty shoot-out, the first 25 seconds yesterday and of course the defining moment when they knocked Liverpool out.. oh I forgot ITV were running adverts at the pinnacle of their season so I guess it'll have to be a youtube clip.

Are aeroplanes now flying lower than ever before over East Dulwich? As that seemed the case when out in my backgarden this afternoon, and a hell of a lot louder!

Going to watch the 'Bitter Blues' Cup Final in the EDT tomorrow - anyone want to join me?

We'll see who the Peoples Club are when we see how many turn up for their open top bus parade around Liverpool on Sunday should they win the FA Cup... because it was between 750,000 and 1 million Reds that greeted Liverpool back from Istanbul.

FA Cup Final tomorrow and I'm in two minds as to who I want to win. Hiddink to bow out with a trophy but having Drogba running around on a lap of disgrace like a spoilt brat, or David Moyes reminding the world from an open top bus that even though they can't fill Goodison Park they're actually the 'Peoples club'.. I think I'm going to cheer (very quietly) for Chelsea... maybe

He is not my type of player but I think Rafa would love to have him on the left doing the same hard work for 90 minutes that Kuyt does on the right, as he'd certainly not displace Torres or Gerrard. Liverpool need to sign at least one new striker, and for all the strikers he has signed only Torres has delivered, so if I were Rafa I'd play it safe and lump it all on Tevez. I think Liverpool would be willing to pay ?25m for Tevez, anything more would have to be based on winning the League. Tevez can hardly speak English so I think he'd welcome the idea of being amongst many players that can speak Spanish (even if Rafa has outlawed its usage at the Club).
-
Anna, why do you think Tevez will not be at Anfield next season, surely the new Merchandise manager cannot veto the deal.. The way Rafa chased after that useless lump Heinze suggests Rafa would have no qualms about raiding Old Trafford for Tevez, perhaps revealingly Mascherano has come out today and said, 'I hope we can count on him [Tevez]'

It's been reported that Tevez did not board the United bus back to the airport.

Yes I think it's a good idea to limit squad sizes, it may stop some clubs from building up unnecessary giant squads. It seemed a few years ago that Chelsea were buying up players like SWP and Sidwell just to stop them going to competitors. I'd like to see a squad size of 25, with 5 of those being under 18 and who'd served an apprenticeship at that same club and who qualify for Club's home nation.

I thought you were mocking others yesterday for taking glory in United's failure last night? What is going on at Pompey, they seem to be pimped around the world, now there is talk of a Dr Al Fahim, of Man City fame, taking over from the Russian. I'm not sure this makes Pompey a proper football club... and you know what the way West Ham chucked their money at likes of Lucas Neill also disqualifies them. As for Wigan handing out ?1 tickets to fill seats that tells you everything you need to know about that club's support. No way are Stoke a proper club.. they don't even play football! ;-)

Actually Anna, Liverpool have played in 16 European Finals (EC/CL/UEFA/CWC/SC) and won 11 United have done 8 European Finals (EC/CL/CWC/SC) and won 5

United were hosed off the park last night by Iniesta, Xavi and Messi. It was beautiful football and one wonders what the final scoreline would have been if the rest of the Barca team had performed. You only had to watch the Arsenal game from 2 weeks ago to know United might get the runaround. We've seen it too many times in recent months where likes of Porto, Liverpool and Villa have gone to Old Trafford and bossed the midfield. United have a weak midfield - rushing the opposition into mistakes does not make Carrick, Fletcher, Anderson & Park the equivalent of Gerrard, Fabragas, Alonso and Lampard.

Hey BigBadMouth are you ever going to appear in person at any of these events? -
LOL Mockney they showed a close up of the King whilst Barcelona were ahead and he was definately dead pan. He is often seen at the Bernabau and usually has a smile. I didn't see the bear hugs with the Barcelona players as I was still jumping up and down but anyway that suggests ... hang on do you mean the bear hugs showed lack of respect? Ah, I'm glad to hear there were bear hugs breaking down the political barriers... fair play to all!

Pizza for breakfast! Hmmmm -
I think Red Devil and Sandperson are probably decent guys and are not typical of the usual United fan so I'll say hard luck lads you were beaten by the best team in Europe. Obviously I am extremely happy Barcelona won, as apart from quite liking Barcelona's style of play I'm glad it's put Fergie back in his box. Wasn't it great to see Iniesta, Xavi and Messi giving a masterclass in football tonight? What players, so small, but so dominant on the ball. All this bull shit about Premiership hurly burly football has finally been put to bed. As for Juan Carlos, the King, I think he is a die hard Madrid man so not really surprised seeing as he kept a dead pan face on Barca's victory that maybe the team representing the Catalans decided not to make any political gestures.
